Authentic and delicious Greek food and wine. Huge menu to choose from but the staff is very helpful. Very popular with the local Greek community here. Lovely music on the weekend.

Title says it all, serious potion sizes of seriously fantastic food. Regular visitor here and I just love it...you need to love your meat though. My mother has however recommend the veg moussaka which she also couldn't finish. Doggy bags are offered which is the way to go. Staff are lovely and welcome you with handshakes and genuine smiles.

This is a very nice restaurant in an old house in the City center. The place was not full and most of the costumers were locals. The food was really good. I had a Cordon Bleu pork with potato salad and a fresh salad that were amazing. The local Esslingen beer is also good. For dessert, apple fritters with vanilla ice cream. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very cozy.

We (my parents, myself and my son) were there for lunch. My mother has difficulty walking, but that was no difficulty for the very friendly staff. The waiter spoke excellent English to my parents and had an insider's flair in German to myself and my son. Service was prompt (drinks were there within about 2 minutes) and we didn't have to wait an eternity for our food either (probably 15 minutes). The portions were huge, freshly cooked and superb. My Rösti really WAS a Rösti, not something deep frozen, and the size of a plate, not the size of a large coin. My son ate all of his Schnitzel (done specially smaller for him) and was even offered another! (The fried potatoes were also a poem!) To cap it all, there was a free small dessert on the house for everyone. As a beer connoisseur, I have to say that it was a pleasure to have something different on the menu in the Stuttgart area, in this case, Zwiefaltener (which was excellent). The décor is also charming, full of nooks and crannies, as befitting an establishment whose cellar goes back some 730 (!) years. It was a hot day, so many were outside, but I could also picture a scene on a cold winter's day, when travellers come into the warmth to eat.To sum up - we have already said that we will we return and I would recommend *anyone* visiting Esslingen to have a meal at the Einhorn.

The food here is fantastic! Generous serving sizes, good value and friendly service.I deducted a star because one of the pizzas in our group's order was forgotten which we had to follow up and the waiter didn't offer any Parmesan cheese with the spaghetti bolognese. Having said that, the waiter admitted his mistake with the forgotten pizza and made a favourable adjustment to the bill which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place!

The place is extraordinary, because of cuisine, the service and the spectacle, the team performes for the guests. The booking is essential and it's really worth driving couple of miles to spend exceptional evening there. The portions are large and considering the fact, that usually there are some free extras, added by the restaurant, limit yourself at the ordering the number of meals. The seafood and fish are fresh and delicious and the price reasonable, like for such a good dinning.

Been coming here a couple of times now and every time the food and service is great. When you look for local cuisine this is the place to be, portions are good and the wine is even better. Service as it should be and the price quality ratio is excellent. Pay in cash only!In the summer you can sit outside in the little tiny garden they have but on a sunny evening it is just great to be here.
