Recommended and booked by our hotel, this was a great chocie of restaurant. With views over the water (some distance away) we were given a table in the window. We arrived at 7.30 (early by French standards) but the restaurant soon filled up after 8.00 WHile I hade the terrine and the beef my wife went for the fish starter and the Scallops. All delicious. For dessert, my wife had the pear trifle while I had the selection of 'fromage' from Brittany. A wonderful meal with locally sourced produce.

This little restaurant was a real find, we were lucky enough to get a table with a last minute booking. They could not have been nicer, the friendly service, fabulous cocktails and delicious food made the last night of our holiday a few treat. This restaurant is also excellent value for money.

Do you enjoy a good crepe? If so, you MUST come here. Perfect menu balancing salads and other conventional items with galettes and crepes to die-for. Highly recommended are the Campagnard galette and the Crepe Viking. The Viking contained poached apple, vanilla ice cream and calvados! Divine... Oh and try the Breton cidre brut. Itâs especially good here

When the chef comes from a Michelin starred restaurant and the server/sous-chef also comes from a starred restaurant you know they are serious about their food. A daily approach to cooking transforms the freshest of ingredients into sublime creations that are a marvel to behold and taste. A small resto of only 22 places but with charm and attention to detail that is sure to please. I had a tender entercote stuffed with oysters that brought new meaning to surf and turf, bringing the ocean to a perfectly cooked steak where iodine meets savory and a fantastic sauce to complete the experience. We had a long discussion with the server, who was a charming note all by himself, about the changing strawberry types and how they had just changed over to the variety currently at their peak. Details matter and they know their region and bring to you the best it has to offer. A wonderful experience overall, but be sure to book ahead as it is small and popular. The best of all of the restaurants we tried in the region.

There is a reason that this restaurant gets 98 percent excellent reviews. It is small and quiet with a casual and pleasant ambiance. The service is very good and provided with a smile. The menu is limited but of high quality. We ordered two different fish dishes. Both were great. The fish was fresh and the preparation was simple yet flavorful. The bread was fantastic as was the wine. Come see for yourself. You wonât be disappointed.

Unless you are French do not bother. I have just left this restaurant that is full of excuses. No customer service. Very hot in temperature. We waited for over 2.5 hours in total. The lady in charge made up reasons and excuses for their inefficiency. It is apparently a big deal to serve 2 bowls of ice cream for kids. Over rated food. Not nice and slow staff. Disgusting attitude. Tried to make it my fault as wanted to ask my husband which desert he wanted so that warranted an extra hour of waiting. There are better places that are not b*tchy. Hugely disappointed!

Celebrated as the best restaurant in Dinard, Au Bouchon Breton falls short. The decor was a bit outdated although the overall ambience was nice. The young lady who was in charge of taking care of reservations, welcoming the customers and service all by herself was professional, but busy, as one might imagine. Communication was not her strong suit. The food was carefully executed, but was for the most part unimaginative and the flavours could have been more clear and succulent.

We had a fantastic meal. Monsieur Charlie was our host, waiter and chef and did an exceptional job. Do not be discouraged by some of the reviews here, you get out of the experience what you put in. If you understand that the restaurant is not only his business but also his passion you will appreciate that he chooses who he serves. Locally sourced food freshly prepared is the order of the day, foie gras, fish and duck are all excellent. You will not be disappointed.

Ombelle is a bistrot style restaurant, cosy and warm atmosphere owned by a young experienced couple. Seasonal and fresh products from local farmers. The chef has an authentic and creative cuisine. We serve good wines for all and organic fruit juices. We w

Tucked away in a corner of an out of town shopping and light industrial area, you might expect something quite ordinary. However, this is quite extraordinary.Quirky eclectic decor, warm welcome, great speedy service and atmosphere. The food is to die for, well seasoned, imaginative and different. If you happen to be on route to the airport at Dinard or just in the area, leave time to visit this lovely spot for a lunchtime treat. Booking ahead recommended as they do get busy.
