This restaurant had rubbishy service from very rude staff, everything was too difficult for them. We were lucky enough to go to the restaurant with our Czech friends, so it was not because we were English. Other tables were getting the same rubbish & rude service. The food was awful, the garlic soup was unpleasant - how can you get soup wrong? The mains took ages & were cold & the price did not reflect the service or quality. Do not go here.

We just came down from Snezka Mountain and we were looking for somewhere to eat. Doing a quick internet search on area restaurants we decided to go here, since it was a 10 minute walk from the cable car station. This restaurant is in a secluded area and parking is not readily available to the general public, unless you are staying at this cottage overnight. There is also a microbrewery across from the restaurant, so the beer served here is their own. The restaurant has seating outside as well as in, and overall the place nice and tidy. We were a group of seven and when we came in they tended to us immediately. We ordered a couple of pizzas, pork steaks made according to local traditions, and hot raspberries on ice cream. It didn't take long for our food to come, and all of it was prepared very well and nice and fresh. The price here is about average for restaurants in the area that actually serve good food and give good service. We enjoyed our meal and the walk back to the parking near the cable car station actually gave us some exercise to walk off our food.I can recommend eating here, but you will have at least a 15-20 minute walk from the parking area. If you are not staying here then you can't count on parking here, so take that into account.
Just popped in for lunch, and what a feast it was! Just a greek salad and gnocchi; but the table almost gave way under the plates! The gnocchi came with spinach and chicken, and it was glorious; the salad was filled with all sorts of vegetables. Amazing tastes; and we didn't manage to finish it all.

Finally an option where to go in Pec...not Michelin, but good price-quality relationship. We had two soups (Kulajda and chicken broth, both very good), rabbit and asparagus salad were just above average. Still good. We recommend better wines (we had two and neither one was good). Delicious coffee. We will definitely come back and see in time:-)
The Horizont has two good bars (the restaurant is OK but there are better places in Pec). The first bar is on the 3rd floor and is Cuban-themed. The place has awesome atmosphere (even if borderline kitschy), very good cocktails, and has been like that for decades. Even during Communism. The other bar is a rooftop bar, brass and leather, with a formal, almost Manhattan-like, atmosphere. Maybe the Commie apparatchiks wares a little capitalist-style retreat when they designed this hotel for themselves? :)I held a martini cocktail master class here during one visit .... Very attentive and friendly staff! Well worth a visit. Great view!

We stopped in this restaurant when coming down from SnÄžka and were really surprised by the quality of food. Everything we had was delicious, freshly made mostly from local product. The prices are similar to other establishments in the area, but the quality you get is much better. Definitely recommandable.

Great restaurant with wide range of pizzas to choose from - they are delicious! We chose KrakonoÅ¡ pizza (with salami, bacon, onion) and Formaggi con Panna (cheese pizza on white cream base). The creamy garlic souo was smooth and thick - also very nice! The dessert - ice creams are home-made, very fresh and tasty too! The place is very nice with friendly staff, Iâm glad we stopped here. Thank sou for this lovely experience!

Le Petit Gourmand The cosy restaurant with 20 seats and a 10-person salon with a fireplace will surprise you with its almost homely atmosphere. The intimate environment is fine for romantic moments over extraordinary gourmand experience. Suitable also for
We enjoyed a very nice dinner. Small but very cozy restaurant - only few tables with fantastic view to the mountains. Very good and professional service and waiter knowledgeable about the wines. Good selection of wine and a french style menu. Being summer I would have liked a more 'summer' / lighter menu. Food was excellent and very well prepared and cooked to perfection.
