I love this bar, but the level of professionalism compared to the main hotel is not comparable.Too often i would have to ask for the menu, or get waiters attention while they were updating facebook, it was sometimes frustrating.Overall its still a good bar, food was nice.Missing the complimentary 'snack jar' that we had last year and the year before.

After a very chilly walk by the beach we just wanted a great, warm and cozy place to grab a bite to eat. We chose Moby Dick which has a great view on to the Wustrow sea-bridge and it was perfect. They serve a great variety of food and the service is fast and very friendly. We will definitely be back...

Just before this years winter really started we enjoyed the walk along the coastline together with friends. It was one of theses beautiful days offering a bit sunshine, not too heavy wind and nice exchange of thoughts between friends. We ended up at Charlottenhof early Sylvester and enjoyed a cup of hot Schokolade.

If you like good regional cuisine and the charm of a 160 year old farmhouse, then you are right with us.
We visited this restaurant not in high season, however, it was really crowded. The decoration of the restaruant is very stylish and fits to the restaurant. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food - well, we waited something spectacular after the reading the reviews here in TA, however it was ok - not bad, but not excellent. But the fish soup was excellent.

This restaurant has the perfect location and offers a terrace with sea view. The service was very efficient and friendly and the food they served us was of high quality. I had the pan fried turbot and I was positively surprised by the generous portion. My wife had the Matjes Hareng, my friend the gnocchi. It was an amazing lunch experience at the shores of the Ostsee!

Sunny Sunday in Ahrenshoop with dinner at the Raeucherhaus. We had three different fish dishes all excellent. At the end of September you can still sit outside but we found a table indoor but still with a nice view over the little harbour. Good staff and fast serving was also a plus. Maybe there could have been a little more potato to my own dish but we were all very pleased. I was also here some years ago in heavy rain but that did not change the good impression of this resaurant.Free parking. Reasonable prices.

We got invited to a wedding party which took place at the Kapitaenshaus Am Unterfeuer in Ostseebad Wustrow recently. We had lovely weather so all the guests were able to enjoy the party outside on the terrace. There was a free bar for non alcoholic drinks, beer and wine. The poor waitresses, notably the young lady from Romania, were kept busy all night. In fact, a very special thanks to her because she worked so diligently and remained calm, attentive and in good humour even when one or two guests started to show some signs of caving in under the volume of alcohol consumed. Food, served as a buffet arrived eventually and was well received by all. There was a Baltic sea theme to the food with some lovely smoked fish which I particularly appreciated. And at midnight the hosts had arranged for goulasch soup to be made available which went down a treat. The whole event was accompanied by a versatile DJ who kept the party swinging with some great music from the 70's and 80's. He also animated some party games principally involving the bride & groom which were fun.The staff remained fully occupied the whole evening, or better said, night as, when we finally left well after three in the morning, the party was still in full swing. All in all this was a fantastic evening and the Kapitaenshaus Am Unterfeuer proved to be a great location and setting for this wedding party. We'll remember it for a long time to come. Thank you!

Gerne wieder.

Even cowded and a bit overloaded this Restaurant offered excellent food and tasty local beer to gain the fish swimming again, as they told us. A large variety of fish, cold or cooked or fried is on offer. Top service and an ambient of Mecklenburg Coast Line interieur made us feeling like best guests ever.
