We have been to Bacaro before and it didnât disappoint on our return visit. They staff are very friendly and attentive, my wife has a dairy allergy and they were very prompt in producing their allergy menu. The food was delicious, particularly the Tuna Tartare and the goats cheese pearls.

Cooking for us revolved around learning from our Grandmothers, fathers and friends. It felt right to build a restaurant as a family, sharing the food that has always been close to our hearts. Alex an experienced Chef of nearly twenty years, Antonia an ex
I donât leave reviews often but this place deserves a good one. We booked as it is small and I really wanted to try it out. We all enjoyed the food. Small plates of deliciousness. Particular mention for the ox cheek stew, pork belly, roast cauliflower in satay, curry, padron peppers and sweet potato fries. The apple cheese cake was also amazing. Just go and try it. We were 5 people and had 9 small plates plus 6 sides and we were full. With cocktails and drinks we spent £112 which I think was worth every penny. If I lived in Liverpool I would eat here often.Hi Thankyou for your recent visit and taking the time to write a review. What a fantastic review, itâs gives us great satisfaction when reading about our food, drink and service. Great choice of dishes, we will pass your positive feedback to the team. Hope to see you again soonTeam Heritage

SILK RD Restaurant is a concept that brings to life the food, drinks and soul that can be found along the ancient routes that run from the Pacific of East China, through to the Mediterranean sea. We serve all of our freshly cooked food in a tapas style, g
With dishes from throughout Asia you will definitely find something you like here.I tried the Persian lamb and Sri Lankan chicken. Both were excellent. We had 10 tapas style dishes in total between three and all were amazing. We really enjoyed this meal. One of the best we have had in Liverpool. Hi 86frankiet,Thank you for taking the time to write this well thought out 5* review. We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed all aspects of your Silk Rd experience, as the high quality food and excellent, friendly customer service we provide are both areas of service in which we pride ourselves on!We also really appreciate your kind words, we are overjoyed! At Cargo we serve the best fish and seafood youâll find in Liverpool â all fresh, every morning, from these shores and beyond. The great news is the Cargo ship is once again being steered by its original skipper, highly acclaimed executive chef Skevos Par
It's not a restaurant that is in the centre, but the quality of the food is excellent and well worth making the effort to get to. The fish and seafood is amazing, but for those wanting an alternative there are some equally good choices. On a personal level my only disappointment was the choice of wines, particularly the rose which didn't fit the quality of the food. 5 stars for the food, but not for the wine choices. Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant, especially for saying that we are worth making the effort to get to! We appreciate we are away from town, but we hope you agree we have a stunning location right on the waterfront with the most glorious views and sunsets! Thank you for also for pointing out the wine choices, we agree! and we are working on a more extensive and luxurious wine list to compliment our beautiful food :)Thank you,The Cargo Team x

Located within the luxury Dixie Dean Hotel. The 160-cover restaurant and bar â named âNo 9â after the number worn by Dixie Dean will showcase a âmodern boutique style hotelâ inspired by the history of the Grade-II listed gothic Jerome & Carlisle building.
Wonderful afternoon tea for my mother in laws birthday. Family ranged from 12-80+ and everybody enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent with a lovely âEvertonâ twist, fantastic generous portions too. Service was really good, and very friendly special thanks to Michael D. We will definitely be back.

I've been here twice. You are seated quickly and have your order taken pretty quickly too. Staff have been friendly.Starters are very nice, would recommend the Breads/Meats/Olives platter. My main (Spaghetti Carbonara) was really nice, my partner had the Calzone which was very watery inside, not the best.Trying to get the wait staffs attention for more drinks and the bill was a bit of a nightmare, despite it being quite empty. We had to go up to the bar to get the bill and pay, as the wait staff were sat at the bar chatting.

Five of us visited The Grove House to celebrate a special occasion and from start to finish the service, food and attentiveness of all who worked there was impeccable. Having pre dinner drinks in the lounge area whilst choosing from the menu was a lovely touch compared with most restaurants who just want you in, ordered and out. This meant that when seated at your table your food was served promptly. Four steaks and one liver dish were all fantastic, as were the starters and sides. A great bottle of Malbec, which was reasonably priced, complemented the meal well. Other reviews have stated that the Grove House is old fashioned and caters to the older population. I have to admit to feeling that in advance of our experience however I am in my mid forties and loved the old school hospitality experience. I would urge The Grove House not to change their approach as fine dining with great service, it would seem, is now a dying art........keep up the great work Grove House.

My husband and I have only used the olive tree for evening meals, always delicious, but today we decided to try Sunday lunch, it was lovely, my husbands lamb melted I his mouth, they even asked how I liked my beef rare or well done. A good choice of veg in plate. Would highly recommend for Sunday lunches.

Popped in for a spot of lunch OH had pil pil prawns, squid and whitebait...all cooked ok. But the whitebait may have benefitted from a garlic aioli.I had the ploughmans..nothing special.i felt the prices for this was slightly steep considering the portion size.My main gripe was the smell....a very musty almost drain like smell with quite honestly put me off eating but as we had already ordered i would have felt bad cancelling it.We would visit again but definately not sit inside to eat. Whist finishing my drink outside i overheard a group of ladies saying about the funny smell too.Whatever the aroma was I hope you are able to sort it
