it is a nice seafood place not in an upscale place...we were at neumünster outlet near to Hamburg when we discovered this place...we shared fried shrimps , salmon filet and a sea bass filet...all were tasty...the setting is cool and casual...very friendly staff...it is recommended

This Croatian restaurant is located near the center of Neumunster. Food is plenty and of high quality. We visited on a Sunday evening and even got a free soup for starter.Very friendly staff. We would definitely come back.

Not only a nice place to stop and have a beer or two (or three, or ...) but some of the finest traditional German food you will find. The frikadellen are wonderful! Highly recommended!

The restaurant is not very big, but there is enough room for everybody. The owners/waiters are always in a good mood, joke with the guests, and provide fast and efficient service. Chose between specialities from Balkan or international cuisine. Both are very good. The portions are large and prices fair. Go here for a good, stable meal and leave with a smile on your face.Open until 11 PM. Closed on Tuesdays. Parking right outside.

Our recent visit to Hotel Alte Stahlwerk included a dinner in the 1500°C restaurant. The buffet offered a huge selection of items of average quality. The food is not inteded to be served for a dining out experience, but rather offers decent food for a good value while you are out for a drink. This combination has made the Kontraste made of the favorite place to go to as a group after you finished with whatever you did before (music, sports, school).

We are here while shopping. 30 minutes wait for the pizza. This was however told up front but still a long wait. The pizza itself was below average. We ate here 2 years ago and then it was better. Most of the staff friendly but not well organized.We are sorry to hear you were not happy with our service and Pizza, we have informed our service manager for further follow up. We hope you will give us another opportunity to improve on your experience in the future.

Beautifully redecorated restaurant in the old Einfeld Bahnhof (Train Station).The menu leans toward haute-cuisine, and is therefore on the more pricey side. The food is of definite chef quality.The carrot-ginger soup was out-of-this-world delicious - seasoned with just a touch of curry, which really danced well with the subtle ginger flavour. I could have had several bowls of this soup for my meal, and been perfectly happy.I had never tried sauerfleisch before. When I mentioned this to our waiter (who turned out to be none other than Chef Oliver Auch, himself!) he brought me a rather generous sample to try. I liked it, but it wasn't quite what I was in the mood for, for dinner.I ordered the "Würziges Wokgemüse (Spicey Wok vegetables) with teriyaki-pepper marinated beef strips. The vegetables were perfectly stir-fried: cooked, warm, yet firm and crunchy. The beef was cooked just the way I like it: medium rare, although I was not asked, nor did I specify this. We did not have dessert, as we were sufficiently full from the generous portions.We had to wait a little long to pay our bill, but then again, the chef was also waiting tables, so this is understandable.It is so nice to have food of this calibre in Einfeld. Normally, I would expect to have to travel to Hamburg to find it!Welcome, Chef Auch!-- I should also mention that, before this visit, I was the restaurants very first customer! I stopped by on a warm day in April, looking for a place to relax and drink a beer. A lovely young lady explained to me that they would not be open for business until the following week. Nevertheless, she pulled a table and chair out onto the patio, and cheerfully brought me a beer. A customer for life was earned! : )

What can you say about this exquisite restaurant! The atmosphere is superb, the service from making a booking to saying goodbye was very friendly, warm-hearted and welcoming. The menu is small but outstanding and offers such a variety that every taste should be satisfied. We had the three course surprise menu and were delighted. The is purely the jewel of Neumünster. While some might consider Am Kamin a bit on the expensive side it is truly value for money and worth every Euro spent. We will definitely come again..

It's convenient location near the school we were working at attracted us to Blechnapf. The warm ambience, courteous service (English understood) and delicious food kept us returning several times. Delicious salads and vegan selections were most welcome.
