Our meal in this restaurant was enjoyable but not exceptional. It scored well on value for money compared to many other restaurants in Hardelot with increasingly limited menus and inflated prices. Service was attentive and good as was the choice of wines on oiffer.

Excellent food and service. Seafood and fish dishes wonderful, staff polite and attentive. English menus available and the best Irish coffees ever. I have been here with friends and family on numerous occasions and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. The staff are wonderful, the food is well cooked and delicious and the prices are about average for the area. Plus dogs are welcome and there is always a water bowl outside for them

As I wrote my review about the castle-hotel Cléry (Najeti) in Hesdin l'Abbé, I need to give the greatest honours to the Chef-Cuisine and his Team of its restaurant Le Berthier. Menu at 39 euro/person/night but at a very creative artistic and high cooked level. Only the chairs to sit on has urgently to be renewed because the backs of all chairs are a danger to crack. Service by gentile waiters. There was just one waitress who's perfume of Dior was coming to heavily to my nose while serving us. Please, don't put flagrances on in your working time ! Food is really top of the bill. Congratulations.

We regularly holiday in Hardelot and enjoy the many restaurants it has to offer. We have always walked past this restaurant as we were lead to believe it was more for party goers. We were wrong, the staff were incredibly friendly, spoke great French and interacted with my children. The food was great quality and well priced. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to others.

The Filedo section - just 14 covers - has a weekly changing menu. I check, & may go if all 3 courses appeal! Appetiser of fish pate with crunchy herbed bread wafer. Asparagus creme brulee - a bowl of sheer pleasure topped with crunchy toasted pistachio plus a savoury tuile. Even the herby crumb decorating the underplate was too good to waste. Then rabbit - loin fillet wrapped round the treat of a bunny kidney, tender, & enhanced by the soft pieces of prune, silky carrot puree, new potatoes & rich sauce. Extra thin puff pastry sandwiched real whipped cream over plenty of fresh apricot puree. Perfect hot coffee in a tall slim porcelain cup, 3 sweeties. What delight, & very reasonable price too.All so fresh, impeccably presented & served. Well deserves the gastronomy bit of the Bistronomie name.Luxury loos, shade parking if you are early,

We spend some time in this region on a regular basis and time after time we come back to l'Oree du bois because it serves a contemporary, local and very well prepared cuisine that stands out in this region today. The service is very friendly and efficient and the price is cheap if you keep in mind that all this food is freshly prepared and finished à la minute as it should be in a restaurant. Full menus are available at 30, 40 and 50 euros but you can also make your choice à la carte.

as a frequent visitor to Hardelot, i wanted to try this restaurant. i could not honestly recommend the tapas starter, it was a strange assortment. The main courses were excellent - the cabillaud was beautifully cooked and accompanied by wild rice and vegetables; the filet steak was delicious and the caesar salad was beautifully presented. The desserts were limited but the cheese platter was very good, which we shared between 4. i would highly recommend the chinon wine.

This was our last night of holiday dinner, 7 of us across three generations. It was a lovely evening and everyone enjoyed their various dishes. The menu was interesting, including the wine and beer. The service was friendly too and reasonably priced. If you want a relaxed dinner, I'd recommend this place.
