What was once an excellent establishment, has completely become jeopardised,Brew bistro Westlands, (A corrupt free zone sign needs to be placed)It starts with security,It is a good thing for security to know one,But it comes with the unexpected,The second time you run into them,By this time one becomes a money token,Not only do they put force on it,Insist on it,But even while inside, one of them even came to me for his tip,The harassment didn't stop there, what I offered, which to be honest if I was completely sober I wouldn't have given into,This particular bouncer expected more,It didn't stop there,I went downstairs to pick up my friends,On my way up,I was once again targeted by a different security personnelWithin one night,I had at this time tipped two security personnelsThe dilemma didn't stop there,The brew staff as I now understand,Have their own way of marking someone,From a polite asking or rather referring to a different server when it's very busy,All boundaries are broken,It seems "you become friends"And so all together, I ended up tipping five staff members within a one night,Our specific, server, this one he wasn't even content in his tip,Not only did he get argumentative but demanded more and made sure he got more,Something is so terribly wrong somewhere,Words cannot even articulate the events of the corruption scenes, harassment of staff over tips, greed,The fact that one has to deal with broken staff boundaries,It really is so unfortunate given that there drinks and food are exceptional and the atmosphere according to me is accommodating,One thing for sure though,It is time to move on from Brew bistro

In the heart of Westlands, but in a relatively calm courtyard where trees are part of the architecture, Brioche is a great place to have lunch with friends or family. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from the French crêpes to a revisited version of Kenyan nyama choma, to fish and vegetarian dishes. The service is great, with very helpful and friendly staff. This Tin Roof Cafe is hidden in a treed location which makes it a great secluded getaway for a light and tasty lunch. The cafe has a quaint patio and the inside has a bright and fresh decor. The all you can eat salad bar is my favorite with a variety of options and flavours to suit any palate.

We had a wonderful late lunch at Tamambo during a recent trip to Nairobi. The menu has a great selection for everyone. One of our party is a gluten free vegan and had no problem ordering a wonderful lunch meal. Additionally we had ostridge burgers that were out of sight. They were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My husband and I had dinner at Tatu during an evening stay at the Norfolk Fairmont hotel. The food was great and service was good. The cheese bread before the meal was warm with 2 butter options. Goat cheese app was good. My tenderloin was cooked perfectly at medium rare. We had fries to share as a side. Enjoyed the chocolate cake dessert. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening while in Nairobi.

I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The food was delicious, though a little pricey. Breakfast was filling, as it was buffet style. Dinner was good, but I was still a little hungry. Dinner took about an hour from the order to the delivery time our table.Dear Petula, I think your visit was to Tamarind Tree Hotel. Loved everything about the restaurant from the setting to the food. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. There were lots of choices from with two menus and a drink list as well. The staff knew when to approach and left plenty of time for you to enjoy your meal. I also liked that you did not have to sit in a large group even though we were traveling on a tour of 18. It was more intimate being able to sit at a table of 4. I had a wonderful fish dish and my husband started with sushi that he said was well prepared. Everyone of us ordered something different and all dishes from vegan to steak were enjoyed. By the time dessert came we were all full but still indulged. Awesome food set up and drinks.The food camein 15 minutes. We were a team of 14 people and food came in at the same time.Orders were not mixed up. Everyone got what they ordered.
