There is not much to share about this place. On one site people are smoking in the restaurant and the other site is non smoking. This is already disgusting in itself ... the food is Sergio. The schnitzel was ranzig and really bad quality paneer and meat quality. A disgrace!

My partner and I went for dinner having had a beer earlier in the day and seeing that they had game on the menu. The menu was given to us in English and we each chose a venison dish being very clear that we wanted the steak as the dish underneath was rolled in hazelnuts and my partner is anaphylactic. They said they only had one steak so I chose something different. When they came out they had given my partner the dish rolled in hazelnuts, I called the waiter over and tried to explain that it was wrong and that my partner is allergic to nuts and I just got a shrug! In the end we swapped meals as it didnât look like they were going to do anything about it. The food was okay, small portions with no vegetables and still got charged full price even though it was a more expensive dish which we hadnât asked for! Funnily enough we wonât be going back!
Wat ons betreft een goed restaurant, met diverse smakelijke lokale/ regionale gerechten op de kaart. Prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving en geschikt als pleisterplaats voor een mooie wandeling. Erg kindvriendelijk, mooie grote speelplaats. Bediening is, zoals meestal in Oostenrijk, erg vriendelijk. Op de weg ernaartoe maar hopen dat je geen tegenliggers (auto) tegenkomt...
Styrian with its unmistakable delicacies and culinary delights - traditional and genuine - is offered at Steirer.
I was hier together with my husband for an " easy break " in the afternoon and we decided to eat an ÃBERRASCHUNGSMENÃ: all the 3 dishes were awesome!! It was so tasty, delicious and good ornamented Sylvia ( the blond woman that served us ) as well as Manfred ( the cook and her husband) were very nice, friendly and polite!! I can say this was one of the best Restaurants I have ever eaten and we will definetly come back again!!! Thanks Silvia and Manfred for everything!!!

I owe it to Johannes to tell of a wonderful stay at Gasthof Gruenholz -but I would rather keep it a secret! This lovely family run hotel is high up the mountain between Arthurhaus and Hochkonig villages. The views from here are spectacular and the ski buses run regularly so its easy to connect with the local ski areas but peaceful at the end of the day. Fantastic ski area and Wow..the ski piste maps are easy to interprete!Transfer from Salzburg airport is an easy hour's drive but I think it would be as easy to take the train to Bischofschofen, then a 15 min taxi ride to hotel. The rooms are simple but very clean, warm and comfortable. The sauna area (under the roof) is a welcome plus at the end of a day skiing. I loved it! Breakfast and supper plentiful and delicious and a generous snack was offered in the afternoon, too. One evening, we had a wonderful mixed meat fondue. The staff were all polite and friendly. (Next time, I hope to converse in German with you!) Brits- don't be lazy- brush up your German before you go...this is a hotel for Austrians/Germans/Dutch and the restaurant is filled with locals in the evening. I struggled to communicate meaningfully; but it felt wonderful to be "properly" abroad.

We stayed in the area en route from our holiday so just wanted good food for some tired and hungry holiday makers. We found the venue to be very nice (rather modern in fact) and the staff to be very friendly. We had pizzas which were very good as well as some schnitzel which was exceptionally good.Thank you, it was exactly what we needed!

Not a smart restaurant by any means, this mountain restaurant offers ample outdoor seating with gorgeous views, and indoor seating as well. The food (regional Austrian cuisine) was freshly prepared from high quality ingredients (our party enjoyed a delicious soup, a main course salad with chicken, Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel), the service extremely friendly, and the prices fair. Since it overlooks the water playground and has non water-play structures adjacent to it, this restaurant is a relaxing place for a family meal as well, as parents can sit back, order another round of drinks (or dessert, or whatever their poison), and relax while the kiddies chase each other around in a safe and fun outdoor environment. If the gondola to the alm ran every day, we'd have come up to this place everyday, so much did we enjoy ourselves.

We had several meals here with family friends in March 2015. The service is nice and helpful. Serving different local meals, pasta, pizza and soups. Also nice for a short break between skiing the nice slopes of Mühlbach. Similar pricelevel to all other restaurants.

The other "excellent" reviews are correct and say all that needs to be said.A great lunch on 23 March with live first class live jazz trio. The special of the day (scampi and risotto) was first class.Stylish, top service and priced sensibly made for a great ski day
