Historic Monument for prestigious events and seminars in Carcassonne.Château de Pennautier is a true "Versailles of the South", thanks to its style and size.
We encountered a rainy day and wanted to explore the vineyards in Pennautier and decided to visit the vineyard. We went to the chateau but could only visit the gardens. We booked a table for lunch and some wine tasting. The wine tasting was relaxed and good value and no pressure to buy. The meal was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by all the group. The menu allowed all choices and again good value with 2 or/and 3 courses. Please go.

A unique place for a quiet meal and a drink. Enjoy the mysterious atmosphere of the Cathars and the freshness of the water sources of the Canal du Midi. A visit to Restaurant à la Prise d'Alzeau matches perfectly with wonderful walking and biking trips th
OMG amazing place ! If you are in this area , you must eat here ! Six of us enjoyed a fantastic meal at this wonderful restaurant in the woods ! When driving here ,you may think there's no way there's any civilisation here then all at once you are at a peaceful little restaurant. Very clean and chic and the food is some of the best you will ever taste ! The rabbit starter and the goats cheese starter is amazing , the lamb and the cote de beouf main course was also amazing , and the sweets were omg !!! Outside is a small patio area and a small children's play area. My son found this gem while out cycling in the area , if it wasn't for him we would never of found it . Complements to the fantastic chef and his wife , who will translate the menu for you. We have travelled near and far and the food here is some of the best , as previously mentioned well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Very bad service, food and price average!

This is a Table d'Hotes. Not a traditional restaurant. It's a family ambience, a home cooking with local ingredients, that has impressed Michelin starred chefs, Jamie Oliver's editors, and winners of Top Chef! Well renowned Dine & Wine. Eat at the winemak
My husband and I had a truly amazing time with Liz and Joe at their winery! Genuinely different than other wine tours/tastings we have been on, extremely informative and of course, fantastic wine. They treated us like old friends and we were truly pampered with excellent food too. Liz prepared some amazing tapas style platters which were all delicious. We could not get enough. Plus they are only 15 mins max outside of the city. But make sure you book a taxi, you wouldn't want to be the designated driver!!Thank you very much for your wonderful review. Itâs always a pleasure to receive feedback from our guests. We look forward to your next visit, perhaps once the weather turns warm and the garden is in bloom again. Until then, cheers from the vineyard! Gilbert on behalf on the entire Oâ Team

We were delighted to find that our favourite restaurant was open on NYE so we booked four months before to ensure we had a table. From the first sip of our cocktail to the last sip of champagne at midnight, the evening was truly first class. With one set menu for the special evening, we opted for the paired wines - a great choice. The menu as always was inventive, perfectly executed by Fabien & his brigade in the kitchen and the front of house service professional, courteous and engaging, overseen by wife Priscilla. La Bergerie is a rare find. In our eight visits in two years; ultimately it is the consistency that counts from quieter lunch time services in the middle of winter to intruducing overseas friends to this dining delight in the height of summer. We continue to recommend to all those in search of fantastic quality food & service when visiting this wonderful part of France.

We came upon this restaurant on a quick visit to Carcassonne. We really wanted to try cassoulet while in Carcassonne and we weren't disappointed. It was delicious! We had a set menu that started with a really nice goat cheese salad, followed by a generous portion of cassoulet, and although we were stuffed, the meal came with dessert. Creme brulee and chocolate cake.Service was good and the servers spoke English. The restaurant was very crowded and people kept coming.

Our Restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, lunch and diner. Booking is recommended. On summer time concerts on saturdays on the terrasse
The restaurant is located centrally in Montolieu in a square next to the church. A great location to eat outdoors (although a falcon swooping down to steal one of the starlings in the tree above was rather startling!). The food was simplicity itself - and in a really good way. Beautifully cooked with obviously good quality ingredients. Very helpful and friendly staff. And reasonable prices too.

The restaurant Les Anges au Plafond offer a quality menu based on fresh produce, in a cosy setting in the heart of the Village du Livre.
Located in an interesting village, well known for bookshops, this family run restaurant (and B&B) serves very good value meals of excellent quality all at a very reasonable price. It was recommended by the owner of the B&B where we were staying, about ten minutes away, and it was a very good choice. We would be pleased to return again, which is more than can be said for some other restaurants we have visited.
