Our West End establishment opened in 2017, brining La Lanterna's Italian food to Glasgow's West End. We have great passion for what we do, and take pride in our classic food & first-class service.
Have eaten in the city centre branch many times so expected this one to be good as well .......far exceeded our expectations. Just loved the decor ------nice touch showing off those "old tiles" to total advantage . Modern ,classic and tasteful. Food was fabulous-we had the pre theatre menu on an early Friday evening . Service was great.Excellent value . This was our first visit to the West End branch ......why did we leave it so long ? Will definitely be back .Grazie mille for coming west-side - we're delighted it could match up to Hope Street. Now you'll have the difficult decision of which one to choose in the future!Thank you for such kind comments on our decor, we're really pleased with the results after all the hard word renovating before we opened, so it really means a lot when our guests love the surroundings. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review and couldn't be happier that you found the food and service to be of such a high standard. Looking forward to seeing you next time - whether West End or City Centre!La Lanterna

We offer casual, modern Scottish dining and select drinks in our restaurant & bar in Glasgowâs West End. ⢠3 AA Rosettes. A GFG Top 50 restaurant.
Today I had the 5 course tasting menu where each course was a culinary masterpiece. The chefs here display a skill level that is difficult to better. The ingredients are the best, the cooking and presentation is masterful. Service, as always, courteous, helpful and with a smile. Go, you will not be disappointed.Hello Ian,We wish to thank you very much for your visits to our restaurant and the high praise given in your Five Star review. We look forward to extending a warm welcome when you next dine at Cail Bruich. With our kindest thanks,The Cail Bruich team.

Had the 10 course tasting menu with wine pairings last Saturday. Amazing food and thoughtful wine pairings with great service. This was for s very reasonable price. Would not hesitate to come back and is worth the journey outside the city centre. Highlights were the chicken liver parfait, pigeon, fish with mussels and the blue cheese course. Really great evening!

Weâre normally âtwo coursesâ maximum diners but at Beaumartin we enjoyed rather more. Sensible, excellently prepared portions let you enjoy a proper meal and a âtable for the eveningâ policy allows you to linger longer - dining at this venue is a social event, rather than a time-managed, profit-production line at too many multiple-location âupmarketâ venues.Delicious amuses bouches were followed by a delicious, refreshing, chilled gazpacho with a hint of chilli and a pork terrine with fig compôte. For mains we both wisely chose the fillet of grey mullet, perfectly cooked. Then, unusually, as we were not time-pressed, and previous portion sizes had been perfectly pitched we went for the mini desserts (one with coffee, the other with a glass of cremant de bourgogne). After the meal we were more than pleased to chat with chef Andrew - originally from Arbroath but trained & experienced in France - on his tour of the tables: it was a pleasure to meet him and provide feedback. We wish Andrew and parisien Richard continuing success in their Beaumartin venture.

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
We had both breakfast and supper here. The breakfast was fantastic! A wide variety of both hot and cold selections. We were starting our hike of the West Highland way and needed a hearty breakfast and we certainly got that. Supper was good as well. We ate off the value menu and enjoyed the food. Our servers particularly at breakfast were great.

Hi,Got a birthday voucher and decided to use tonight, My wife and l both decided to have the Sunday roast lamb and some cocktails. The cocktails were great. The meal looked well presented and the roast potatoes and vegetables had a lovely gravy, however the lamb was about 90% fat. It was awful,l do not get why someone would serve it on a plate. It really was that bad that there was virtually no meat so the meal was just potatoes and vegetables. I never mentioned at the time and probably should have but l am not the type however l called 20 minutes after l left and asked for the manager to discuss but just got to speak to the person that cleared my table and although she did apologies l got the impression she did not care that much.l wont be back for food here again.I wish l had taken a picture and assumed the person clearing the tables would have noticed along with the chef! and the server

Having been to the Giffnock restaurant, I have to say that this one is more expensive but the food doesn't justify the higher price tag. The pasta dish was fine if a little bland.Hi Brian. Sorry to see that you didn't enjoy your experience at Andiamo Milngavie. If you had let us know of any problems during your visit, we would have happily rectified the situation there and then. Could you contact us with some more information on why you were disappointed with your visit? Thanks.

A delightful fish and seafood bistro supplied by our very own fishmonger.
Visited Fantoosh Nook being a massive fan of sea food and finding it online. For a small restaurant it did not dissapoint. I absolutely loved it. Cullen skink starter was so warming and absolutely delicious. My main was brilliant too( special- fried seafood and fries) . We had a vegetarian in our group who had a brocolli soup and stuffed aubergine. Although there isnât a lot of choice for vegetarians the food was still lovely. Looking for an excuse to go back. Wish I had taken pictures.
