Together with our 4 children, my wife and I went for local food and found this excellent restaurant servicing traditional Spanish regional dishes with fresh sea food. Un régal !!We repeated with friend 2 days later and again very happy. Paella Valenciana and grilled sardines were excellent ! Bravo and thank you.

Last night of holiday meal. Great food and service in a lovely beach setting, as usual. We won't be in the area for the next 2 summers. See you again in 2022. But all the ribs we have going forward will be judged against your yardstick. :-)

The location is great, right on the sea front with fantastic views, service was fantastic with an English speaking waitress.I ordered the Caesar Salad, we also ordered 2 different burgers and the Chicken Fingers. The burgers were fantastic, homemade, cooked to perfection, very good indeed, likewise the Chicken Fingers are homemade and lovely. I was toying with ordering the patatas bravas and Calamari (which I saw after my order arrived and they looked amazing(), instead I ordered the Caesar Salad, to be honest it tasted OK but had way took much dressing and almost no Chicken, it really was hunt the chicken, this dish was poor compared to the other 3.Not far away is a large "general" restaurant, this place was cheaper and a million times better quality.I would certainly go back but I woulnd't recommend the Caesar Salad.

Food was really nice and reasonably priced.Great views to the beach and the sea. Very little English spoken, but likewise from us, no Spanish. Only negative were that the waiters seemed a bit disinterested in our custom, relying on the position of the restaurant, but that may just be my view. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited this restaurant with family and was not disappointed. We had a salad to share for starter and it left me wanting more as it was very tasty and there was plenty of it.We then had a variety of pizzas and all were very tasty. They do a set menu aswell with dessert etc.Really great food and will definately going back.

Nice terrace in front of the beach Playa Cristal, Mediterranean fresh food and good atmosphere. We have a sushi bar in the first floor.
We visited Limonero in June on the strength of recommendations from our family living in the area. The restaurant itself is well positioned overlooking the beach and is well appointed inside. As the restaurant was relatively empty, we were shown to our seats quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, this is where the professionalism ended. For a starter my cousin and his wife ordered the Jamon Iberico de Bellota to share, and my wife and I ordered the mejillones. At the same time, we ordered a glass of Spanish sauvignon blanc and three beers. My cousinâs wife is fluent in Spanish and all seemed to be going well. We then asked the waitress for a glass of ice on the side to go with the wine, as on many occasions there is more ice/water than wine. The waitress brought over one ice cube, we than explained again in Spanish what we required and she brought over an ice bucket. She simply refused to believe that we wanted ice to put into the wine! The Jamon Iberico arrived, but my cousin said they would wait for our starter to arrive. We waited five more minutes still nothing. We called over the waitress to enquire as to what had happened to the other starter to be told that they were on there way and to be patient! We told my cousin not to wait for us but to carry on. Fifteen minutes later we asked again about the missing mussels, âon their wayâ we were told. Five minutes latter we called over the maitre dâ who then told us that they thought we wanted the dishes to arrive separately!!! A total lack of communication fuelled by the waitressâs arrogance; she was simply not listening. When the mussels arrived they were average to say the least (please see picture). I had the fish main course and again average was the top mark I would give the meal (please see picture). You will like the setting, the location, but perhaps not the over arrogance of the staff! Muchas gracias

My family and I were on holiday in the area and bumped into this restaurant by chance one evening. It's right on the beach and has lovely views and live piano music. It has the excellent service and setting of a formal restaurant but without the fuss. It was perfect for us as they offered a vegetarian paella for my daughter and wife who are both vegetarians. Al the food was freshly cooked including the desserts. Would highly recommend it. We were lucky to get a table as other people who turned up after us could not get a table without a reservation. Would be perfect for a birthday or special celebration.

Once again this restaurant lived up to our expectations. The new menu was delicious, and as always food was freshly prepared as opposed to frozen and re-heated. Service was good and both food and wine were reasonably priced. The chicken skewer starters were a delightful change and as always the cannelloni never fails. The lamb tagine was excellent, the star of the show for me was the Moroccan chicken curry. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
