This restaurant was suggested by one of the local I met in Mdina. It's nice, cozy traditional Maltese restaurant. I tried Stuffat Tal-Fenek (Rabbit Stew). The food is very tasty and the service is kind and friendly . Thank you for the kind gesture. Recommended

We booked a table as a large group and despite being late the table was ready for us and we were welcomed. The guys shared the meat platter (with potatoes and veggies) and the rest of us shred cheese and meat platters. All really great and extra bread brought on request as the children loved it with the olive oil.The primitivo wine was excellent. The children also had date pastries and a chocolate cake and said they were great.Relaxed atmosphere, and a friendly warm host.We look forward to seeing you next year.

Amazing food and all ingredients are top quality and fresh. I tried the fish soup and Lampuki and was blown away. The owner himself gives you personal attention and you wouldn't be disappointed. He even picks you from from your hotel for FREE! Great business and I wish him all the best.

Came here on our last night and could not have asked for better - attention to detail from the minute you walk in the door is fabulous! Showed us the fish of the day, the scottish mussels arrived as we sat down which we then had, along with the best baked camembert. Local fish cooked and filleted for our request, also ordered the king prawns - delist, and a fillet steak which I am told was perfect. Highly recommend this small but brilliant restaurant. BOOK to avoid disappointment and missing out!

Taken to Il-barri by maltese friends in small township of Mgarr. We stumbled across a farmers festival. The restaurant is right next to the parish church around which it was all happening. A noisy crowd was evening picnicking at specially constructed family tables we had a table in the restaurant. I ordered Bragioli (maltese beef olives) and two of our party had rabbit which is a bit like chicken and Pizza. It was all accompanied by Chips and salad. Food quality was great as,were the staff. We had snickers cake dessert and soft drinks. The place was very busy and noisy but there was a festival outside. The bill came to â¬69for 4 peeople. Very reasonable indeed .We left and the local party was still in full swing .

An extraordinary aerial culinary experience in the heart of Malta. Dinner in the Sky Malta elevates 22 guests to 40 meters above the rooftops of the island. Combining a perfect balance of fine dining, fun, excitement and theatre into one completely unique
Wow, just wow. You are set skyward in this magnificent restaurant overlooking the beautiful Malta city. Stunning views. Food was inventive and delicious. Our group of 14 raved about it. Staff were amazing and had a good sense of humour. Highly recommend for birthdays, anniversaries, proposal or just as a unique experience.

Visit our Facebook page! Dine West Restaurant
We were advised to go for a Maltese dinner to Dine West and we have discovered a truly fabulous restaurant! And before we start the review congratulations with the 5th certificate of excellence!!!This restaurant lies in the street - nearly in the center of Mgarr where busroutes 44 and 101 pass every hour! Very easy! The restaurant has a good atmosphere, brings live coverage of sports events and has a nice wine cellar with open view.At our arrival we were greeted by the lady of the house and we got a warm welcome. Even though there was a large group of locals the service was impeccable! We ordered the local snails as a starter - ohh they were so good prepared within a redwine sauce- and for main we went for the lamb and thyme ravioli and a full rack of BBQ spare rib! The dishes were absolutely delicious and the size was more than enough! Compliments for the chef and his team in the kitchen, compliments for the staff in the restaurant while giving a perfect service and congrats with your certificate! You all deserve it!!! Many thanks for letting us being part of a true Maltese evening! Regards from Belgium - Peter
