They know what theyâre doing here. Super-thin savoury crepes, crispy at the edges made with garlic butter (optional) were absolutely wonderful alongside a local version ofCamembert, ham and eggs. Lots of options plus amazing looking open sandwiches if you donât fancy pancakes. All washed down with organic local cider. The desserts looked huge - especially the waffles. Thereâs an open kitchen and plenty of locally sourced ingredients. We left stuffed and partially protected against the brutal winds coming off the sea. Great place.

You look good french fries, then this is a good stop. Much better than McDonald's. They serve honest decent food quickly without too much smell from the cooking oil.You queue for the food and you collect it. No table service but clean. Good stop on the motorway between Calais and Boulogne Sur Mer.

There's little to question here. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, but the staff in the kitchen seemed to be joshing us - les Anglais, etc. I couldn't catch what they were saying, but it made us feel uncomfortable.

As a club we had not been to Wimille for many years since the old restaurant had closed. It was therefore with some trepidation that I suggested we try the resurrected Petite Braconte. Thirteen of us turned up with a great welcome from Stephanie and proceeded to have a first class lunch. The menu was varied, the wine choice expansive and the food was excellent. We had our own room and service was with a smile. Well done guys. You gave us a great afternoon. Weâll be back.

Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away
La Liégeoise definitely is a top restaurant (certainly the best in Wimereux) but in my view, it doesnât fully deserve a Michelin star. While everything was technically very good, especially the lobster dish and all desserts, some combinations were not a full success (e.g. the tomato concassé overpowering the sweetbread). Service could have been more attentive, too.

Le Green Bistro is a small, but charming restaurant, with a lovely interior and an open kitchen. The waiter was really charming and very helpful in explaining the menu.We started our meal with a glass of truly marvellous prosecco and an appetizer made with lentils, quite original. Value for money wise it is hard to beat this restaurant: for only 26 euro you can enjoy a starter, a main course and a dessert. I went for the mushroom soup (which had a very dense consistency) as a starter and the scallops (of course) as a main course. The soup was fine, but the scallops were absolutely fantastic. I ordered a glass of white wine with the scallops. I let the waiter recommend me something, but I have to say this white wine was a bit too sweet to my liking, although, to my surprise, it went perfectly with the scallops. My boyfriend tried some local beers. The crème brûlée with baileys was a great way to finish the meal.My only complaint is that it was too cold in the restaurant. Two degrees warmer and the evening would had been perfect.

Typical French village restaurant run by husband and wife team who were attentive throughout our meal without being overbearing. Wholesome simple menu with salads, steaks, omelettes, and on the evening we were there, 3 plats du jour. Very good value for money. We would go back there with no hesitation.

From the outside the restaurant reminded us of an american style family dinning in a strip mall. That said the menu is greatly diverse and we had very tasty appetizers, super main and delicious desert. Fairly priced and nice people. Donât worry they also have an English language menu :-). 5 minutes of A16 to Calais, Will be back in the future.Hi,Thank you for your visit and thank you for your review on TripAdvisor ! Found this place in a panic on discovering the restaurant we intended to have our last lunch in France was closed. And it was a joy. A small place with a jolly patron-cum-chef, serving delightful food from a short locally sourced menu at equally delicious prices. The starter was a hot goat cheese salad with a crostillant of filo pastry. Perfectly melted cheese, crisp pastry and a salad full of hidden delights like mustard cress, pine nuts and red currants. The main was slow cooked veal thigh in an intense broth/sauce topped with a plethora of wild mushrooms, accompanied by a corgette gratin and wonderful chips. Probably the best dish I ate in France this trip. I washed it down with rose de provence and Cote De Bourg at 6-8 euros a pichet and coffee came with a complementary brownie and digestif. At 50 Euros for two - it was a bargain. So if you fancy one last meal in France just 30 mins from the ferry/Eurotunnel, this is the place.,
