Very much enjoyed our meal of salade Périgord. The salad is a meal in itself and includes duck, goose livers, and paté. Filling, plus it gave us the greens weâve been craving. Local friends recommended this place. It has its own patio and is not on the sidewalk like many side street restaurants are. Good place for kids and puppies too. Waiters are efficient and gracious.

We had a friendly server and an almost outdoor table (we preferred it). The foie gras poêlée was to die for (how can one go wrong with it?). My dining partner had 2 slices of the foie gras de canard - delicious and after such a rich start, we opted for omelettes a la truffe which were light and just right. Rose wine and we couldnât have been happier. Take a look at the grotte/cave. It reminded us of the Roque de St Christophe visited earlier in the day. Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de laisser un message aussi positif. Nous sommes attentifs aux soins des clients et nous voilà récompensés.

This is one of the best places in the area for a simple meal with family or friends. It has a justifiably popular bar as well, and a lovely terrace for outdoor - but sheltered - eating, weather permitting. The staff are very friendly and professional.

Had dinner with friends here recently. Great range of crepes all prepared in full view of the diners.Nice and fresh and tasty. Savoury and sweet.Try the goulash crepe (!). Also the almond and pistachio.Very reasonable priced too.

We had dinner here and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The restaurant features a small open air courtyard in the back. The food was very good, the ambience relaxed, the prices reasonable, and the wait staff kind and attentive. They had free olives as a starter, and they were delicious. We ordered pizzas, salads, and lasagna. I tried everything and the lasagna was my favorite, but it wasnât mine, so I only had a little. We wish we could eat here again. Thank you.

The Restaurant L'Adresse is located in the heart of the medieval city. Offering a varied menu and cooking fresh products.
We were lucky to get a table as we arrived without booking and although it was right at the start of service there was a queue of customers. In spite of being busy the food and service were excellent and although some of the dishes on the 26 Euro menu that we chose were standard Sarlat fare they were served with a twist to make them special.

You can come to enjoy our cheeses with our slates of tasting and our today's specials, around a glass of wine, a traditional beer or an organic fruit juice. A home and friendly cooking.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here at La Cremerie.Having just moved to the area we had walked past a couple of times without venturing in. It wasn't until we saw the restaurant on tripadvisor that we decided to visit. Thank you to all the people who took time to review this lovely place. It deserves the great feedback and accolades it is receiving here. The lunch is really well priced, prepared on the spot and with excellent service. All the best to the lovely couple who run this restaurant, we will certainly be back!

The Hotel with restaurant Laborderie, at the heart of the golden triangle (Montignac, Sarlat, Eyzies de Tayac) is a family establishment since 1920 when reigns a friendly atmosphere, in a haven of peace.
Seven of us were staying at the luxurious nearby Combe Claire and catered for ourselves every night except two, when we succumbed to the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at this superb village hotel. The service was polite, discrete and tolerant of our rather boisterous party. There was a full house each time, we pre-booked and just managed to sneak in, but the food was superb and for â¬29 the three-course menu terroir was great value.Good local wine selection too, which of course we applied the 'when in Rome' principle to.Make sure you book to avoid disappointment - highly recommended.

This restaurant is located 5 km north of Sarlat and well worth the drive. It is on a major road and easy to find. After eating duck and foie gras for the past few days and after looking at the many similar menus in the old town, we decided to try something different and are so happy we did. Amazing meal: I donât like eggplant but his amuse bouche of aubergine âpearlsâ with pesto, mozzarella, balsamic was a wonderful combination of flavours. The seafood âsurpriseâ was an artfully plated platter of smoked salmon, perfectly cooked scallops, and seafood tartare with fish roe. The beef with bordelaise sauce was so good my husband wanted to lick the plate. We both thought the beef was better than the beef we recently had at a one star Michelin restaurant a few days ago. My chestnut cream dessert was excellent. The dinner menu (3 courses) for 29E each is an incredible value for this caliber of cooking. The waiter was excellent. The chef was welcoming, friendly, approachable and even showed us his array of specialty spices used to create his dishes. This is a must-do if you are in Sarlat!
