We choose the restaurant based on the menu and the fact that is was within walking distance of the hotel. And the food was indeed very good. I highly recommend the slow-cooked ribs as well as the Secreto. Food-wise the restaurant certainly deserves above average rating. The service has room to improve. It was very clear the staff wanted to use the table for a second customer and rushed to get us out asap. Bringing the starter and main dish at the same time however, does not make me eat faster (so we send the main courses back to the kitchen). I hope that was accidental as the food makes it a great restaurant.

Marcellino Pizza e Vino, is projected as a place that specializes in traditional Neapolitan pizzas using fresh ingredients, great quality that will give you a delicious and distinctive flavor, offers a large variety of pizzas for everyone. Also offers a v
This place was chosen by Tripadvisor. We made reservation for six person day before and we came on time being very hungry. When ordering, we were told that the oven would be ready only after 1 hour and 45 minutes ! So they were not able to serve their customers for their main product. The biggest shock was that when we gave feedback "why you didn't came here to light the oven one hour before opening", the waiter told us that "its not our style and its your problem, if you you change the place" !Unbelievable arrogant behaviour and customer service ! We left off and found a good enough pizza place that was able to make the order as usual. We're very sorry for the misunderstanding. The waitress that took care of you was not so fluent in English, she was only trying to explain that it would have been possible to have your pizza at 8.30, so just after 30 minutes from the time you came in, and that it is customary everywhere in Valencia (and in most of Spain, to be fair), to have dinner at a very late time, compared to other countries.By no means she intended to tell you to go somewhere else, but only that even if you went somewhere else you would have been in the same situation (of course, speaking of restaurants that have to cook stuff, and not turistic places serving pre-cooked meals). Also, only for the pizza there was some time to wait, while the rest of the menu would have been normally available.Again, we´re sorry for what has happened, and we hope you´ll have the chance to come back and taste our pizza (and all the rest).Kind regards.

Kram Bar is a bar/restaurant where you can try out a Mediterranean cuisine menu or have a drink whilst enjoying the broadcasts of the main sports' competitions on the giant screen..
A friend recommended this bar for its tapas and nice service. It is a small bar near Nuevo Centro and looks really nice. Service is on point and we ordered the recommended tapas which very high quality and tasty.

El Raco de la Paella is an experience. Tradition and vanguard are appointment together to offer the best valencia gastronomy. Has a just protagonist: the rice, always cooked over a wood fire. You cannot afford to miss to visit us.
We went here for our now traditional late lunch today at 3pm.The place oozes character of traditional Valencia and we were the only table of non Spaniard in the restaurant. Our starters were local mussels, mackerel fillets on toast and warm bread stuffed with tomato & tins with a hard eggs shaving on top.We opted for the chicken, rabbit & snail paella which was delicious. One bottle of white wine, one bottle of water two glasses of Rioja,3 coffees â¬112.I must mention our waitress Carolina who was brilliant, bright, bubble and very helpful. She is a fantastic asset to this restaurant. If you want authentic Paella this is the place to go.

We had the most delicious vegetarian paella here. I'm not vegetarian but my friend is and can never get a suitable dish in most restaurants. This was amazing and highly recommended. You must book because this is a very popular restaurant and I can understand why. Delicious food and wine reasonably priced.

The menu at Ricard Camarena Restaurant (Michelin Star and three Repsol Suns) is a successful combination of taste, absolute respect for the product, an understated creative cuisine grounded in tradition with cosmopolitan and Mediterranean influences and b
We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary while staying in Valencia. On the morning of our meal, we got an email/whats app message to confirm our dietary needs. My wife is allergic to shellfish, which I already confirmed to them, and I re-confirmed this again when replying to their message. When we arrived at the restaurant, they reconfirmed that they knew my wife was allergic to shellfish. We both ordered the ten-course "Ricard Camarena" tasting menu but were then advised that my wife couldn't have it due to her allergy and they could not substitute some of the dishes with a non-shellfish option. She was advised to have the seven course "Synthesis" tasting menu. This resulted in her having nothing to eat for long periods which is not acceptable. We have been in other fine dining establishments before and they were always able to accommodate my wife. This restaurant was told numerous times about her allergy but were completely inflexible and unable to meet the needs of the diner. The FAQs section in their website states that they can adapt their menu if they are given plenty of notice and if the allergy is not too severe. Many people have an allergy to shellfish and it not considered unusual. To compound matters, they then proceeded to give my wife a starter containing squid which can be considered as shellfish with people with a shellfish allergy. They did replace this starter with a second dessert but as with some other courses, I was eating on my own. Ignoring all the above, the food was extremely underwhelming but we did find a nice bottle of wine to try to rescue the night. When we ordered a second bottle, we were told they did not have one so we had to go look for another bottle.Overall, we were extremely disappointed and were glad to leave.

Un Restaurante Para Sentirse Como En Casa, Comida Tipica Valenciana Y Otras Cosas Que Vamos Aprendiendo
Did try to book online but wasn't successful and I was worried our Spanish wouldn't be good enough to arrange a table via telephone, so tried without a booking and need not have worried. Staff were charming, helpful and attentive contributing to a fantastic night. The is only a fixed menu which is very much fish based, 4 fish/ salad starters, mussels with mange tout, bacalao with a tomato based sauce, possibly the best fish I have tasted followed by a dessert of pineapple mousse, which was refreshing and finished the meal of nicely. Included in the price was a bottle of house wine and coffee. Amazing!

FIREWOOD-GRILL, FLAVOR AND TRADITION Tavella could be defined as a boutique restaurant. Located in the family house of Pablo Chirivella. An old Valencian farmhouse dating from the end of the nineteenth century and which was originally a farmhouse. The phi
This restaurant has a prix fix menu, with the only choices coming with how many courses your party would like. Order ahead for paella or rice dishes, as is customary in Valencia. It is not an easy restaurant to find, but it is worth the search behind the casino. We went with the fish (turbot?) which was delicious and cooked to perfection. There is a fish or meat option with the 3 course choice. The sauces brought alongside enhanced vs covered up the fish and it was delicious.

This restaurant was a few mins walk from the Travelodge where we were staying (next to airport). The hotel staff recommended this place. There were a few bars, cafes etc around the area, but most of them werefairly basic. But when we found this restaurant, it was like finding an oasis in the desert. The quality of the food was approaching fine dining. Excellent fish dishes. Very friendly and attentive waiters, excellent ambience. Good value for money, â¬50 for 2 people, 2 courses each, beers, bottle of good wine.Strongly recommend this restaurant
