My wife and daughter had visited for breakfast before but this was my first visit. 5 adults and our 7 month old grand daughter visited for lunch on Saturday.Really friendly and attentive staff and nothing was too much trouble. We had 5 different meals, which took a while to arrive, which is not a problem as every dish is cooked to order and not pre prepared. Every dish was perfectly cooked and clean plates went back. Where possible all produce is locally sourced. This appears quite a new venture and I wish the owners all success. If they keep up the standards of food and fantastic customer service, this place will soon be hard to get into. That's very kind of you, and we will do our very best to try and improve on our standards you kindly mentioned.Hope to see you again soon.

We wanted somewhere with atmosphere and good Italian food to meet friends away from the chain restaurants in Livingston.Chenzoâs enjoyed good reviews including âa gemâ, âlovely, authentic Italian restaurantâ, âperfection pasta dishesâ and âgreat food, good service and good pricesâ so we booked a table.First impressions count. Itâs a surprisingly big restaurant in the middle of Uphall, but the lighting and the floral wallpaper, plus the tables minus cloths, donât provide a warm welcome. The menu â there are also specials - has choices to suit most tastes and Chenzoâs say they update as often as possible. We opted minestrone soup, a staple along with bruschetta, and stuffed mushrooms. The minestrone was a tad cool and lacked taste, despite being packed with vegetables. The mushrooms were well received and the bruschetta was tasty. We opted to stay clear of pizza and pasta and plumped for stroganoff and chicken dishes. The stroganoff had a pleasing taste, but was nothing special, but my chicken dish minus cream â Iâm lactose intolerant â was a huge disappointment.I expected a rich sauce packed with flavour from the likes of olives, garlic and vegetables, but this was thin and bland. The chicken was advertised as being wrapped in ham and cheese but, once again, it lacked quality in taste and presentation. The chips disappointed and most of the accompanying vegetables lacked bite, particularly the soggy courgettes. Yes, we cleared our plates, which were cold on arrival, but that was because we were hungry, not because of the quality.Service was with a smile, but that canât make up for the disappointment served up from the kitchen.Possibly we were there on a bad night, but the lack of patrons could be an indication of how locals rate this establishment. And, of course, few diners means lack of atmosphere. Uninspiring frontage, uninspiring interior and uninspiring food. Average at best.Thank you for your review ans sorry for your disappointing evening i guess the chef must have been having an off night and yes sometimes business is quite even on a Saturday.

Overall, not a good experience. The restaurant was very quiet, yet the service was awful. We were seated for a while before anyone took our order, despite very deliberately looking for a waiter. They appeared to be very short staffed, with only three servers. The food was quite good, though it took a while to be served after preparation; I could see the kitchen putting the dishes to be served and ringing the bell. They had to ring multiple times before service arrived. They seemed annoyed. The staff were not friendly at all, they never checked if our food was okay, they lacked basic customer service. Positives: my Dad has allergies and someone came to double check. The food was good. We will probably try another Prezzo location.

La Salute means 'Good Health' or 'Cheers' in Italian, and Mangia Bene means 'eat well', basically you will enjoy the most authentic Italian eating experience with great food and great wines at La Salute Ristorante Italiano. From a highly successful restau

We were her with another couple for dinner. Great place for a quiet meal where you can enjoy each others conversation. Great server who made our visit enjoyable. A large and varied menu with something for everyone. I ordered the Calzone and it was huge! Lots of ingredients and very tasty. A meal on its own. It may not be fine dining, but the food is great and the service friendly. You won't be disappointed stopping here. Well worth a visit if you are in the Livingston area. Attached to the Tap Shop pub, so you can go for a pint or two pre- or post-dinner.

Bistro19 Harburn is a family friendly restaurant that is open to the public. We serve high quality fresh produce whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We also offer a 120 seater function room with a range of party packages
There's little I can write that I've not mentioned in previous reviews. Constantly lovely meals served up with passion by the chefs using fresh produce and virtually everything homemade with choices to appeal to most palates. With lovely attentive and helpful servers there's little any one can criticise hence our regular visits and now some of our friends have followed our recommendations too. My breaded haddock with homemade tartar sauce and chunky chips and peas were delish as was my wife's scampi and sweet potato fries with salad garnish ( I forgot to photo) followed by apple and sultana crumble with a hint of cinnamon served with custard with my wife devouring her sticky toffee pudding and icecream. Situated in a rural location yet we've seen 30/40 dining here at lunchtimes and 75% of those being non golfers all appreciating good food and service.

went here on tuesday evening 15/10/2019 and have to say the service was terrible.Table was booked for 8.15. Upon arrival we waited over 10 minutes for someone to tripping her.Got drinks order taken right away then waited around 30 minutes before food order was taken. To cut a long story short it took around 2 hours just to have the starter and main. I then had to ask someone for dessert menu and they never came back to take the order. Then had to ask someone else if we could order desserts. The restaurant was not busy so no excuse for poor service. Will not go back here. The food was good but a few things were cold as it had clearly been sitting for a while.even come and show us to our table and there was a gentleman in front of us who had waited longer. No Appology just what seemling like a manager with her face
