We had an excellent meal here and the service was great. The salad was delicious with some sort of pastry and melted cheese on top. Really good bottle of wine for a reasonable price. My lamb chops were very good. The dessert was great as well, we shared the profiterole and creme brûlée. This place is small and books fast so would suggest a reservation.

We were two couples and loved our visit to this small restaurant. We had the 60 euro "surprise"menu and were happy with every dish. The first one, a medley of fresh tomato preparations, was excellent. The smoked trout with oxalis herb also wonderful. The filet of beef quite tasty.perhaps lacking a tiny bit of tenderness. For 60 euros it is good value. We'll be back for the pigeon dish on the menu that sounded good. The meal began with a nice plate of amuse-bouches and ended with some mignardises. The wine list is very fine and the patronne can advise you gladly.

Original, functional and straightforward, the RockyPop restaurant offers three different types of cuisine that can be ordered and picked up from the food court style counters. Between gourmet burgers, crispy pizzas and traditional French meals, everyoneâs
Just terrible service...after ordering over £200 worth of pizza, burgers and drinks, we ordered one more burger. First I was told that I couldn't order from that table, then only 'for takeaway, i.e in a cardboard box as all the other food was. I paid and waited for 30 mins during which time the rest of our group left as it was taking so long. I asked waitress where my burger was and she didn't come back. So went to kitchen and found a Classic Burger in a takeaway box which was cold. I found another waiter and said as it was now so late, burger wasnt served, burger was cold and ALL our group had gone home then could I have a refund. He was smirking and took it back to kitchen to reheat burger. I again said that I didn't want a reheated burger after a 40 min wait and want a refund. Suddenly the waiter 'couldn't understand' English and involved 3 other members of staff all the time grinning and finding it most amusing..eventually got a â¬12 refund and not a word of apology. Ruined the night and that's a shame for your reputation.Dear pauljonundery,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and allow me to reply:You ordered Pizza's and burgers to take away and our staff asked you to be back after 15 minutes but you were nowhere to be found. Due to the intense activity of our restaurant during this time our staff did not have the time to find you and after some time the burger was indeed cold. We gave you a refund with our apologies but unfortunately one of our waiter who didnt speak English well enough asked help from other staff. I feel sorry that you found that our staff was making fun about you, but it certainly wasn't the case. For your next visit at the Rockypop do not hesitate to book a table in advance to be more comfortable and avoid any misunderstanding.Best regards.Antoine GUIGONGeneral Manager

Nestled in a picturesque village of Haute Savoie you will not miss this former coaching inn from 1885, ornate and decorated in a Savoyard style face Diosaz Gorges and 10 minutes to Chamonix with its view of the Massif Mont Blanc. Whether you come alone, i
I reserved here based on TripAdvisor reviews and wasnât disappointed. We opted for à la carte as we werenât that hungry though there are fixed price menus for around 36 and 48 euros. We ate outside with a view of Mont Blanc and ordered the chicken with tagliatelle and beef filet with a potato millefeuille, both tender and very flavorful. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and the citrus mousse - the latter was a bit too sweet in our opinion. The owners of the hotel/restaurant were incredibly courteous and helpful. The only slight inconvenience is that they do not speak great English and the menu is in French (but we speak a bit of French so we got by just fine). We will definitely be coming back again as the surroundings are beautiful and the location is strategic for either hiking, skiing or visiting other nearby places like Chamonix or Annecy.

Here you will find a little piece of paradise that's perfect for relaxation: family atmosphere, cosy setting, large scultpeted wood lounge. A favourite spot for locals, the restaurant served delicious and refined cuisine with a spectacular view of the fam
My husband and I started and ended our 12 day 'tour du Mont Blanc' trek at this hotel, and we couldn't be happier about our stay. It's a place I will remember forever- it's right beneath Mont Blanc, with an outside garden/restaurant area where we had breakfast every morning and a very nice lunch. The staff are incredibly nice, the breakfasts had an amazing variety of cheeses, pastries, croissants of course, and fresh fruits & yogurts, and a delicious variety of breads. Best part was the view and all the flowers, I could sit there for hours! The hotel itself is very nice, and feels family run. Can't wait to go back.

Liz has been running this place for 8 years now, serving locals as well as tourists. We were 4, celebrating the end of our TMB hike. We had a first rate filet steak, accompanied with well selected wine. Desert was as good as the main course, and it was accompanied with the best desert wine we've ever had.

After a late lunch we decided a pizza would be good for the evening meal, especially as this restaurant was across the road from our hotel. Great pizza, nice staff, nice ambience. Another good night!

the restaurant is open every night at 18.30 We serve typical french food and savoyard food like fondue and tartiflette
We had a family supper here enjoying well priced local wine and some nice food. We had excellent starters and my daughter and husband seemed to enjoy their fondue and I had a nice chicken dish with good flavours, the only teeny criticism being that it was just a smidge over cooked. Our server was very friendly and helpful even though he had 4 tables in all at the same time and was trying to juggle all of us and there was a big party of 16 there also putting in their order. The kitchen, which can't have been very big still managed to cope. Very relaxed and nice place to wile away an evening.
