The Qube restaurant has pretentions to be a serious restaurant but, alas, fails to deliver. The décor is contemporary and pleasant and the food is perfectly decent, but the evening service staff is not only incompetent but downright rude. I can tolerate disorganized service if the servers are pleasant, but there is no excuse for inefficiency coupled with arrogance. I was staying at the Qube Hotel with colleagues and we saw that the restaurant was half empty so it seemed easiest to dine there instead of trying to find another place in the neighborhood. When it took forever to get menus, then to have our order taken, then simply to be served wine which was sitting on the bar behind us, we offered to leave if we were not welcome. One of the servers berated us for expecting to be served promptly when we did not have a reservation! Several nights later, at a dinner there for over 40 people (for a conference), another server told someone allergic to arugula that she could "just scrape it off" her starter. We complained and received an apology in that instance, but this is type of behavior is simply unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm sure there are better and certainly more enjoyable restaurants in Heidelberg - Das Bootshaus down the street, for example, has good, unpretentious food served with a smile. Save your money and your time!

This an out of the restaurant that seemingly caters to locals. People were greeted with smiles and hugs...definitely not tourists exploring new places to eat as we were doing. Though there wasn't an English menus, the young bartender virtually translated the entire menu for me and helped me choose something "without meat and not fried"... quite the challenge in German cuisine. I settled on a pancake stuffed with mushrooms which also came with a side salad. My husband had pork with mushroom gravy, knaidel slices, that also included a salad. The portions were huge, tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable. The waiter staff couldn't have been nicer. Great evening!

A warm welcome from our service team awaits you in our restaurant, where you will be spoilt with masterfully prepared dishes from our kitchen, under the direction of Head Chef Bastian Götz. From our abundant breakfast buffet through to a gala dinner, our
The fixed menus in this hotel restaurant are the key to value (Americans are not used to this option--but it is a real money saver). Decor is simple, but elegant. Service was very good. Food was exceptional. Highly recommend. There is a beautiful courtyard that must be a fantastic place to have a drink when the weather is a bit warmer.

On a chilly evening, we had dinner at this attractive restaurant. It now boasts another level a testament to its popularity. It is less atmospheric upstairs;the downstairs seating is more medieval and interesting. Food was a little pricey, but tasty, hot and filling.

I first had a selection of starters and some other tasters from the buffet, which were all delicious. I found that plate (paid by weight) to be rather expensive, though.Afterwards, I had one of the weekâs main dishes, which was pasta with broccoli, mangold and celery/almond pesto. Unfortunately, I could neither smell celery nor almond in it. Also, the whole dish was a bit bland for my taste â it would definitely have benefited from some spices.Overall, Iâd recommend this place but see room for improvement.

Schnitzelbank did not disappoint! The best German meal that we had during our trip through the country. I'm a huge foodie so I'm always looking for the best restaurant or hole-in-the-wall spots. The restaurant served some of the best popular German dishes. Everything that we ordered was cooked perfectly and delicious. Already planning to go back just to eat here!

Went here with the family for my son's 21st birthday. Our reservation initially placed us next to a table with loud people with their chairs pushed back, leaving no room, so the servers suggested another table with more room. Drink orders were taken promptly, and delivered promptly, and food orders then taken at the same time. The wait for the food was a bit longer than expected, but the ambience was good. The restaurant is big enough for about 40 tables in 3 large rooms, plus (in summer) outdoor seating as well. In winter it was cozy, though there was a somewhat annoying DJ playing rather loud and intrusive music. When the food came, everyone at our table was more than satisfied with the quality. The steaks were tender and flavorful, including the tuna steak.During the meal, the service was friendly and attentive, and we had no hesitation leaving a generous tip.

Went here for a meal for two. We sat outside. It's a bit rough and ready but ok. We had the antipasti - comprising the cheapest of prepackaged foods, it seemed - and a pizza. We were very disappointed by the quality of the food and the service was slow.

Our dinners on the Leimen town square were very good with excellent service with the staff being attentive and friendly. There were three of us and we each had a different entree. We would not hesitate to visit the Leimener Brauhous again and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to eat and relax for the evening. May not be suitable for children unless your eating outside.

We had a company group dinner here and overall the place is classy, food is good and have good service and atmosphere in this Greek restaurant. Only problem is they do not have English menu and I had to rely on my colleague to help me translate the German menu. They served a complimentary drink that tastes like Vodka which is nice. Will come back again next time.
