No booking necessary on st valentines night which was a plus. Restaurant is under stone vaulted ceiling. House wine good and v reasonable. Pizzas quite good if base a little cardboardy. Service very good in this simple family restaurant.

Behind the harbor, with a terrace downstairs and upstairs. You feel welcome and the modest menu delivers beautiful local products. Filets de sardines, couscous de la mer, sole meuniere, all excellent.

A group of intrepid Ultra light (Microlight) Flyers had flown to Bell-Ile, and needed to have lunch in a place that could seat the twelve of.us.This place did it by shoving us into a triangular corner, and we were very pleased they did.The food was excellent, the wine was good, and the service turned out well too. Highly recommended. There is seating outside for when its hot & the fish was fresh and well cooked.

This restaurant is in the grounds of Citadelle Vauban and offers a grand dining experience. Expect the service to be relatively slow and the dining room to be on the bright side, not romantic but, overall very enjoyable. ( 2 Menu de l'Artilleur and a half bottle of Chablis â¬135).

After staying 2 weeks on Belle-Ile, we have to admit that seafood quality, daily special, service and view on the harbor distinguish this restaurant as the best option in town

We went to the island for the day and wanted to eat something before returning by boat. I saw the Routard sign from across the street so we crossed the street and took a table outside (around 3PM). The tables /benches are perfect for kids. The Kids had a classical Crêpes with Nutella and my husband had one with fish and I had one with salad and cheese. You know that after a holiday in Brittany you are done with eating crêpes/galettes, but this place gave us a completely new perspective on what you can do with it! A glass of wine for me, my husband drank a local beer from the island (jummie!) and we left with a fully positive end of our islands visit! ;-) its 5 minutes away from the harbour.

We spent a day on Belle-Ile in the week after Easter. We rented electric bikes, and after visiting the Citadel, had a wonderful lunch at La Parenthese. As a starter, they were serving shellfish I've never seen in France (but did see in Galicia a couple of years ago) - Pouce Pieds (gooseneck barnacles) as well as the more usual whelks and sea snails. I chose the oysters, but my partner enjoyed the barnacles etc.For main courses we had steak and monkfish, which were both excellent.A lovely lunch, which set us up for an afternoon cycling in the sun.

I ate at this Creperie before and this year again. The quality remains at a high level. It isn't the cheapest Creperie on the island but in my opinion the best. You pay for what you get.I ate at all well-known Creperies on the island like Sauzon or Bangor. They are all good but Annexe for me has the most creative and tasty galettes.Book before!
