Having previously written a very favourable review for the quality of their food and service, unfortunately 7 Plats has joined the ever-growing band of bars and restaurants that offer "Special" menus and prices during the 24 hours week, hence this score for policy; joining the rip-off club.Having visited a few days earlier and experienced a very enjoyable meal, a visit on the Friday of the Drivers' Parade saw a very limited "Special 24 Heures Menu" selected from the Gourmet Menu, at a higher price for the same dishes.A shame as the attraction of a visit into the city is becoming increasingly less attractive compared to events nearer the track.

This place punches above its price, Euro 19.50 and 28.00 menu. We had the 19.50 and we're certainly not disappointed, most of the rest of the restaurant did also. One small niggle the 0.5 litre pitchers are expensive, so if on a budget check the price before ordering. Still excellent value for money.

Found this quaint little restaurant nestled among other shops, restaurants and bars on a cobblestone street. Fixed price menu that includes steak and salads. Desserts were fabulous. Plenty of gluten free options. Childrenâs menu option of hamburger with fries and dessert. Fresh bread on the table. Kids and parents were both happy.Highly recommended for a steak and salad.

Welcome to the Box Lunch a unique organic restaurant, Fish, meat, vegetable are made daily and serve with a creative way, we speake English fluently. Cheers
Though we saw a lot of people coming in for take out, you can certainly eat in here. It is a small place and a little bit tricky to find-thank goodness for GPS- and parking may be an issue in a crowded busy city like Le Mans but it proved to be an appropriate lunch stop on the way to Chartres from Mont St. Michel. The food is fresh, tasty, and there are plenty of choices for vegetarian and meat eaters. The owner is very nice and friendly and service was very efficient. They work hard here and you get a very very good meal for a very reasonable price. If your in Le Mans or traveling in between the Paris region and Normandy, this is a perfectly good place to get a decent meal at a very decent price, but do allow time for parking- my understanding is that the restaurant is in a pedestrian zone only so you'll have to park outside of that zone.

The wine is superb and very reasonably priced (you should note that I'm from London). The cheese and charcuterie are all locally sourced and simply lovely. The decor is modern and pleasant. The service is very friendly and very informative. If you get a chance to have a chat to the owner you should. He is extremely friendly and loves to discuss wine and cheese, very informative. I have no problems in recommending this place for a glass of wine or a light meal. Can't wait to return.

Our second visit to this fabulous restaurant, the food was to die for, so tasty fresh and presented perfectly. The restaurant was extremely busy, the waiters runoff their feet, quality not compromised at all. Highly recommended .

Everything was presented beautifully and cooked perfectly. I appreciated that the chef managed to blend risk taking and traditional French cuisine. The spider crab dish was a star; however, I continue thinking about the sear on the endive accompanying the scallop (and the other side elements of that dish which managed to demonstrate a subdued balance/restraint despite numerous elements).Bravo chef. I would be curious what the place is like with Warner weather because the "gem" of the atmosphere appears to be the outside area in the front.

The decor is very sophisticated. The service is impeccable and the food to die for. Everything about this place is fabulous. Certainly on a par with Michelin rosetted London restaurants. Highly recommended. Reservations also recommended to avoid disappointment. If you re a foody make this an essential part of your visit to Le Mans.

Although we had not made a reservation, we were welcomed by very friendly staff. On offer was a 3 course menu of the day which was perfectly to our taste. The quality and presentation of the plates was very nice and tasty. In general the prices looked very reasonable to us. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit, we would go there again.

We had an excellent meal here! The carpaccio and cheese starter was delicious. I had the chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce, with an amazing mushroom mash. My husband had the duck and it was cooked beautifully. Reasonably priced and good wine, what more could you ask for!
