Restaurant hidden in a villa on Route de Didier. Looking like a family trattoria. Often packed with regulars. In the long dining room the wooden bar, portait photos on the yellow walls, black and white checkered tiles create a charming outdated atmosphere.Pleasant to taste traditional Italian specialties like a Spritz as aperitif, octopus salad, fagottini, Emiliana tagliatelle, zucchini and tomato linguine, gnocchi al gorgonzola, a glass of Lambrusco. Friendly and efficient service, decent prices. La bella vita.

Located in La Galleria mall. A Hippo like every Hippo. Same country-style decor, same tested recipes based on beef meat, same vinegar chips ... The formula works. For my last visit I had a double carpaccio and a glass of Brouilly, it was fine. Nothing special at Hippo Galleria but no bad surprise. Except may be the dining room looking a little shabby and too long waiting for service.

We arrived for lunch at the end of their service. We were still graciously accommodated. The service was very attentive and friendly. We loved our lunch choices. Mine was a plate of crevettes and my husband had a salad with chicken. We really enjoyed the experience and the friendliness of this restaurant. We returned for dinner on our last evening in Martinique. Dinner was just as nice. The fish was fresh and well prepared and the entrees were especially nice. The restaurant is located in the Hotel Valmenière, a bit difficult to access, but worth the drive. I do not agree with Prodigal Son's review. The French islands do have some good restaurants, and I think that they are trying to accommodate the tastes of Americans. We have been traveling to many of them since 1976. If you go to the Caribbean, you do expect to eat a lot of Creole food, and of course a beach restaurant is still a beach restaurant. We always go with a friendly attitude and an open mind. Really we are visiting their country! If you want really up scale food and prices go to Cape Est, or La Samanna in St Martin. In short we had two very pleasant meals here and were not ignored or given inadequate service.

Entre Nous is located a bit north of Fort de France. It's a bit hidden, but there is a sign to guide you to their place. Seats and tables are put in the terrace and around the pool outside of a traditional Martinique casa. There are a few big trees and plants that provide shades to your cars and eating areas, an essential part for anyone who live or visit Martinique, because during lunch time, the heat and humidity can be brutal. I made a reservation for noon for 2 on a weekday. When we got there, it was 12:15pm, and the tables were not ready. The server didn't smile, didn't even greet us. He went directly to to ask us to choose whichever table we wanted. I asked if he could give some suggestion of where would be the best table to hide from the heat, and he gave me a look like it was not his job to choose seats for me, and then answer that "only I will know where I like to sit".The menu was simple. I had options to choose from 5 different set menus for 28 euros. The description of the dishes sounded very interesting, but when the food actually arrived, they were not so impressive. I don't eat much, so the portion was fine for me, but for my friend, the portion was too small for him. When I looked around, I saw that others' customer had also small portion, so I guess that's how Entre Nous serves it. The wine list was limited and the rose wine I ordered was not great. I was disappointed with the whole experience, from the food to the decor to the service, which is too bad, because the house could have been a nice place to take friends or clients out for a treat, but after that lunch, I won't be back.Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the Restaurant Entre Nous is now under new ownership. We pride ourselves on offering a quality meal, in a stunning environment for a very reasonable price. Do come back and give us a try. We hope to see you soon at Restaurant Entre Nous!

We stopped for lunch while visiting the artisanal shops. We were seated at 12:30 and received our first food at 2:05. Both my duck and my husbandâs beef were totally unseasoned. Our server was very pleasant but very rushed. Dessert sorbet that came with the duck was wonderful. We didnât want to risk ordering dessert or,coffee. Price was fair and location pretty.

The restaurant is located on the second floor. Although the interior is questionable, the food is terrific! There is a limited menu. I loved the lobster risotto and tuna tartare. The place is quiet, the air conditioning works well and the service is laid back.Thank you have visit us and taken a while to leave us a advise. Hope you spend a good time in Martinique and see you son.

A discreet restaurant recently open in Californie industrial area. Small dark modern space with an open kitchen, discreet pleasant little terrace at the back. Rapid service by friendly staff. Fine French cuisine with local products. A different meat dish or fish dish every day. Also draft Leffe and mussels and chips on the menu. A good little spot.

Restaurant, grill , bar. Ambiance conviviale dans un jardin. Cuisine francaise et produits martiniquais. Concerts le jeudi soir. Portable interdit !!! Le Babaorum a fete ses 19 ans et son equipe accueille toujours avec le meme plaisir et bonne humeur vos
Le Babaorum was a refreshingly casual place for some good French food. Answering cell phones in the restaurant not allowed or they'll bring you Champagne that you'll be charged for...guess it's their way of helping you forget the outside world while you're there.

Open for all occasions, groups, individual, for a meal around a glass of wine, very selected, at midday or for dinner, enjoy the terrace, or our acclimatized dining room, for a moment of pleasure.
O vin sur vingt is hidden in the back of Californie zone in Le Lamentin. No easy access in a shabby area. Like Harrodâs not so far this good restaurant is a sure bet for a business lunch. A pearl embedded in the concrete. Warm welcome, likeable staff are significant assets. The dining room is spacious, simply decorated. Service can be a little long. But itâs worth waiting for subtle and tasty dishes. A healthy tenderloin with mash potato, a trio of fish from the market with a vegetable julienne. Or a pata negra pluma with sweet potato mash like yesterday. In the large wine list we chose a fruity Brouilly.O vin sur vingt is a mix of creative bistro cuisine and fusion recipes, of local products and traditional European specialities. A successful blend.
