This restaurant came highly recommended by friends who have been coming to this restaurant for years. I wish I had eaten here every day of our stay in Ladis. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere - both the old and the new part of the restaurant. It has the feeling of a true bergstube and the owner of the restaurant wears the traditional Austrian dirndl outfit. The food is hearty Austrian fare - make sure you do some serious hiking or skiing before you come here. The food is excellent and authentic and truly delicious. Atmosphere is busy and bustling. Can't wait to return!

On top of the Lazidbahn you will find one of the 3 restaurants in the mountains of Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis that you have to visit during your vacation. You will love their freshly prepared pizzas and even more the price.TIP: the slopes down from here can be a little challenging for beginner kids, but don't worry. You can take the gondola right down to Komperdell Bahn after dinner.

Lovely location at the bottom of the North-Side. Austrian gemuetlich but the usual lunch time rush. Very friendly service. The kitchen serves the usual suspects, heavy food it will ground you if you don't watch yourself. Pick carefully and you will be happy, have the true Austrian specialties like Kaiserschmarren in a real restaurant. Still way better than lets say Two Elks in Vail. Table service, if the sun is out sit outside and soak in the scene.

Visiting Serfaus with our daughterâs family. They skied in, we hiked in. True Bavarian food and very good. It was worth the hike. The goulash soup was very good. A small green salad was big enough to feed two people. The restaurant was very busy with skiers, but the service was prompt and pleasant.

There is not a lot of restaurants you can visit at Ladis and this one was recommended to us by the local people. Pretty good food at reasonable prices and very nice service. If you go there for a casual dinner with friends or family and children, you will not make a mistake. If you look for white table cloth, silver cutlery and soft candle light, you should look for a different restaurant.

Sadly this was not the stomping bar we had expected. It was relatively quiet and full of smokers.Well located at the end of the long blue slope in Ladis. We preferred to go to the Weiberkessl (500m back up the blue) and enjoy a last run after a few apres ski drinks.

We came here two nights in a row with our three children, the service was friendly and food and drinks were solid. What else can you ask for?

The Frommes Alm is located at the bottom of the popular Frommes slope. This used to be a nice balance between location, good food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the nice atmosphere is no more. At least not all the time. They now frequently have long periods of loud hardrock of the worst kind. And on the terrace you have 2 different kinds of music played on top of each other. Too bad!

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.

These spots need to be preserved for future generations. Located at the foot of the Ladis Castle, this restaurant had not seen any changes in decor or ambiance over last 50 odd years. Warm welcome, dated interior that every visitor accepts as being part of the deal and really nice food. Great white wine (Grüne Veltlinger!!).Prices are fair.
