NâAutre Monde restaurant just two steps from the Grand Place brings you the worldâs cuisines in a warm, modern setting. The dining room is a fabulous blend of pink walls, exposed brick, Louis XV chairs, chandeliers, downlighters and dramatic flower displa
We ate here last night and were really impressed with this restaurant. The food, staff and atmosphere were all excellent and we wouldnât hesitate to recommend nâautre monde. We started with scallops and the egg and chorizo special and followed with monkfish with pink curry and the cod special and all were very generously portioned and delicious. Washed down with a bottle of picpoul de pinet which at 19euros was good value. We would love to return here soon.

Hi we were 20 people on a business dinner. first of all there was only greek wine available and none were good (red). the greek salad was OK but the feta cheese was not that good. We ate calimari, grilled shrimp which were OK but the mutton grill was the best

Food was excellent and service was great. The steak was cooked to perfection and the duck was fall off the bone tender. It was crowded and I was lucky to get a table, so reservations would be good. I didn't get anything from the dessert trolley but the desserts looked sublime.

Located on a side street but easily accessible, only 6 tables but thats nice, very efficient service by young lady who spoke better english than i do french. Simple menu various pasta dishes and pizzas which are all made and cooked right in front of you, not a microwave in sight. Childs menu is reduced portions of main menu. My only negatives to a very nice meal were, what restaurant doesnt have a bottle of white wine on the menu with it only being sold by the glass with a choice of white sweet or very sweet, this is france where wine is everywhere. And lastly the dessert included for children was a peach glace/sorbet whilst the adult thought it lovely both kids declined it as weird taste, play safe and serve good old vanilla to children.

What a fab place Lille is. I was pleasantly surprised. It really did exceed my expectations. And what a quaint and charming place this restaurant is. Like going back to wartime France. Our waiter was like Rene from Allo Allo. I kept thinking he was going to say something hilarious in franglais. Anyway, the food is good standard brasserie-type food which really hit the spot. Does what it says on the tin. I had fun and liked Rene and our fellow diners who were chatty. I would certainly return. Vive LâEtable!

Located in one of the oldest streets of the city, La Fleur de Lille welcomes you in a fully redesigned, warm and elegant atmosphere. We offer creative french cuisine. All our dishes are âhomemadeâ, elaborated on the spot from raw products, fishes and fres
Everything about this restaurant was excellent. Most importantly, the food was superb. This was dinner for four and we all chose different courses. We were all happy with our choices and I have to say that we had a bit of food envy towards the one who chose 'Le Welsh' - La Fleur de Lille's interpretation of this dish was just fantastic. It was also sufficiently large that there was plenty to be shared around. The service was great too and next time we're in town we'll be heading straight back here again.

We got the truffle pasta finished by the table (flames and vodka). The sommelier gave a great recommendation for wine to go with the dish, and the meal started with a nice parsnip ham amuse bouche and was finished with a complimentary chocolate covered pistachio treat. Wonderful service (and decor)! Don't be put off that this is attached to a hotel.Hi catatoniaThanks for your lovely message, it's always a pleasure to our team to see our customer are satisfied about the quality of the food and the service.I hope you will be back next time you are traveling in Lille.Best RegardsCyril

We walked 2 km tru the porring rain to reach Barre Rouge in Vieux Lille. But it was worth it. Very modern and contempory. Very polite servants. Small menu and not so much choise for a big kitchten brigade, 3 entrance, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. But we ordered before and they proposed a nice menu for 40 â¬. And with some extras it was really a discovery. The wines are also very good, and the price is right. Only minus is a little to less bread ... surely for such a good butter they improved. Also it would been nice that the chef would pass by the his guests... we woulded have to write this. I think the restaurant is going up the charts, keep up the good work.

Made reservations for Quai38 in advance of our stay in Lille. Did not want to miss this for a wonderful evening with my wife, who is a food snob like myself. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Dishes were original and putting the quality of the food in its power. This tasted like a starry starry night! Bertrand cum suis... thanks for this experience.

Wow. A great little find just out from the centre of Lille . A small menu of absolutely lovely food. We enjoyed everything that we ate. The service was helpful, informative and friendly. A really pleasant ambience for our meal. Good value wines ( the Petit Chablis was very reasonable ). It really is a gem of a restaurant ( modern, clean, fresh ); well worth a bit of an effort to get out to.
