Annieâs restaurant in Chiswick is the kind of place every neighbourhood dreams of. This home-from-home restaurant has become a local institution, as spot-on for Sunday brunch as for romantic dinners. A stoneâs throw from the Thames, its cosy rooms are a

Oh so French and oh so charming, Ma Cuisine Bistrot is Kews very own Gallic dining room, where locals and visitors are invited to enjoy rustic French cuisine in delightfully traditional surroundings. In the very heart of Kew Village, close to the train
This was a real find, unashamedly French, it was packed when we were there. Luckily, we had booked, I think they could have filled the restaurant again with the number they turned away. The front of house team was great, we were immediately welcomed, and shown to our table. We were not hurried to order, and they were happy to explain the menu, which is French regional. The people in the kitchen know their job as well, cooking and presentation were first rate. The wine list is fine, mainly French, but the good stuff, with bottle labels in French. Many of the wines are available by the glass. I really canât find anything wrong with Ma Cuisine, except it is too far from where I live.

La Trompette opened in 2001 and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capitalâs top end establishments. We closed at the beginning of 2013 for a complete refurbishment, and have expanded to include a
La Trompette was Chiswickâs first Michelin-starred restaurant, it opened back in 2001 and is the sister restaurant to Chez Bruce in London. Whether dining for lunch, brunch or dinner, for personal or business reasons, La Trompette is hugely infectious with its detail for the customer experience. You are immediately met with a radiation of positive smiles, they even ask you how was your day, your coat and extra belongings are stored safely and elegantly whilst you are escorted to a beautiful table. The menu is superbly balanced, all the food is organic and fresh on the day and you will have many difficulties making a gastronomic decision, I would not worry if you make a second choice, because if will be delightful. As you can imagine The wine list is extensive, one more recommendation, you really need to try their cheese board and 20 year old port, it will put the finishing touches to an absolutely perfect evening. My recommendation to avoid disappointment, you should book, and irrespective of where you live in London, its an absolute must. I will return!

Excellent food and wine throughout. We've dined here over many years and never been dissatisfied with anything they offer. Their steaks are always very good, as are the pasta meals we've had.Very good attentive service, superb complimentary olives and lovely bread.

Modern living inspired cuisine. Organic vegetarian restaurant serving international dishes using local produce in support of local British organic farmers.
We try new vegetarian restaurants as they crop up and this one is well worth a visit. Lovely mushroom risotto perfectly cooked, an interesting and creative menu, pleasant, welcoming helpful staff, a good atmosphere with various groups enjoying their meal. Will visit again for an evening meal and recommend it to others.

Only six minutes away from the Kew Botanic Gardens, Q Verde is a popular Mediterranean restaurant on Sandycombe Road that has a delightful villagey vibe. Food lovers flock to Q Verde for the wholesome menus and outstanding service, and this family-run res
My wife & I booked for early dinner (18.30) at QVerde after a day visiting Kew Gardens. Found the restaurant online as my wife loves Italian food, but as always when booking "blind" not sure what to expect. Needn't have worried - it was a really great meal. One of the best Italian meals we've had in a long time! Location is good for Kew Gardens (5min slow walk from Kew Gardens station) and the welcome/service is very friendly. The food was excellent and the House Red was a good quality "House" wine. Be aware however, it's not "cheap" and it is clearly specified on the menu that they add 12.5% service to the bill ("discretionary"). Still think it was worth every penny, and would highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant with charming service. Unobtrusive decor. The food was nice enough, although somewhat unremarkable. Dessert was delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. Great independent bookshop opposite and gloriously near the tube station. Great place to take very aged diners who I saw being treated with kindness and respect

A bit of a disaster really. Avoid. First they messed up my order by leaving in something I can't eat which makes my mouth swell. They remade it but didn't cook the prawns properly. I returned it for it to be cooked. When I got it back the prawns were charred on each side but barely cooked through. The quality overall was poor (food and wine) - some of the worst I've ever had and I waited a long time for everything. At the end of the meal I was told the place is cash only. I went to the bank for cash and paid full price (having been offered more wine after the first error) but left feeling angry and concerned I might get ill.
