Dear Foreigners, though the translation of the restaurant's name somewhat suggest that this is a fish restaurant, it will be different from those you might find on a seaside, nevertheless you will enjoy it :)The menu has a good choice of different stuff made of fish or meat, they have also some dishes for vegetarians.Of course the best choice is to start with is a "halászlé", which is a spicy fish soup ( fish is from freshwater, you might find the taste somewhat different from seafish ) and to continue with "túrós csusza" which is a sort of hungarian noodles with cottage cheese. You can also try fried fish , fish stew, and many other meat dishes too, also there are also tasty pancakes with fillings to finish with.Service is quite OK, credit cards accepted, parking is possible in the front or in the small cross street.

For years I was planning to go there and try the REAL Italian pizza! Many of my friends told me it's the best in Kecskemet! So last month when I was in Kecskemet I took my wife there to see how good is that Pizza! The place looks really nice (nothing fancy)! The waiter and the bartender was NOT AT ALL friendly (many restaurants in Kecskemet have terrible Staff)So I ordered a pizza with ham , mushroom...Well the price of the pizza is quite expensive for Kecskemet! Around 10$for a mid size! And then came the surprise! The mushroom on the Pizza was from a can NOT FRESH!I was really-really shocked! that's it no way i'm going back there! There are at least 5 pizza places in Kecskemet where it's lot better and at least 40% cheaper!

Tepsi is more than just a place to eat or drink! It is also a social meeting point where you can always enjoy fresh food, refreshing drinks and good vibes. Our place is perfectly suited for all types of social or corporate events. We ensure you are going
Extremely quality, extremely well cooked. Had some chicken with sauce, it was so tasty. The french potatoes with sauces are homemade. Really easygoing ambience, in a little pedestrian walk, perfect for summer. Nice to find such a place in the very center of the town.Fair prices. Service is really nice. They talk English.Would always come back.Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again when you come to Kecskemét!

I visited this place for several times. The atmosphere is super, service is kind and fast, but sadly only cash payment is accepted. The pizzas are good, sometimes there is too much oil in them.Other foods are perfect. They also stream the most important sport events, like champs league.

When reading through the reviews one thing is popping up very often: 'nothing special'. Now here is the thing: traditional italian food is - surprise: nothing special. It is not the fancy french cuisine, neither molecular gastronomy. And if you have ever been to Italy and had a real good, traditional lunch or dinner you know that portions are huge (serving is usually not in plates but in the actual dish that was used for cooking), food styling and design is basically non-existing or minimal and the only 'special' thing are the ingredients, so just the food.If you go to Cezar with this in your mind you will not say it was nothing special. I know many people in Budapest who are happily willing to drive to Kecskemet (ok, only 1 hr drive but still) just because of the food served here. Would you do that for a 'nothing special' pasta or average pizza? I dont think so..And if you complain about the place being crowded, would it be better empty? A full restaurant just means that people actually do love the food - and no matter what, the staff is always smiling and helpful.Overpriced? Compared to what? I find it hilarious that scandinavians are complaining here that this place is overpriced. A penne with porcini mushroom and Parma ham is around 15EUR and no matter how hungry you are you cannot finish it; a pizza is around 17EUR..while a Big Mac sandwich (not menu!) in Sweden is around 5EUR.I know I am just one out of n+1 reviews but in my opinion this is an authentic traditional italian restaurant with good food and good service and without the fake italian decorations or other 'mandatory italian show elements' of similar restaurants.

In the Rozmaring restaurant we serve the most delicious tastes and dishes of our sunny Alfold with the legendary hospitality of the people in Kecskemet.
The vegetarian tag on this place should be removed, having a salad doesnât means that, does it? In that case every restaurant is vegetarian friendly.Dear "Nicolás M",Yes It's is true, but we've never advertised ourself as vegetarian friendly restaurant. We got this "label" from our guests. Even so we have more vegetarian options in our menu, at this moment:- Sour cherry soup, raspberry, homemade cantuccini â¨- Aubergine cream, vegetables, toast â¨- Home-made cheese in crispy coat, buttered vegetables, tartare sauce â¨- âLechoâ - hungarian ratatouille, fried sausages, scrambled eggs - can be order without sausages even with eggs- Green salad, creamy cheese, egg-dressing, fried seeds â¨- Green salad, crispy bacon strips, radish, mozzarella - can be ordered without baconâ¨- Fried camembert, green salad, cranberry dressing â¨- "Csusza" noodles, sour cream - and 5 desserts Moreover we can prepare freshly everything. â¨Last, but not least our menu can be read on the outside wall of the restaurant or on the internet. You can check before visit us.Thank you for your rating.

Really, really tasty food here! Reasonable large portions as well and not too expensive compared to the city's average pricing. Staff was friendly and food came quite quickly. They didn't take any notes of the orders which seemed impressive, however, things came out wrong and I had to order my wine three times before it showed up. But that was the only hiccup in an otherwise excellent restaurant. Recommended!

Huge portions of traditional food. Everything is ok. Nothing great. I had the bean soup and then the pork knuckle. The soup was nice. The pork was too fatty. I had a coffee afterwards that was a bit weak.

Normally a busy place to dine just outside of the southeast city limits of Kecskemét just beyond the airport/air base. After many times passing by I thought it just a simple roadside restaurant for truck drivers along narrow and well-worn route 44 on the way to Békéscsaba and the Romanian border. It gets a good amount of traffic. Nowadays I go there regularly so this isn't a one-off review. If one just wants a quick meal, they'll accommodate if you let them know. If you want a more leisurely dinner to admire the atmosphere, that's what they aim to be a quality family restaurant serving standard Hungarian fare.Their interior is standard - nothing special with wooden tables and chairs and a dark atmosphere. If they're full they put they have a cellar that's maybe a little better for a quiet meal. During warmer weather they open up the terrace which can be nice. The only issue is that is not far away from the roadway so it can be noisy as the traffic rounds the corner of the busy 44. Additionally they nearby air base has takeoffs and landings that can drown out conversations. They also have a decent-sized garden for families to play and a few animals in a fenced off area. Each time I've been their facilities were kept clean and stocked.Their kitchen can surprise sometimes with their specials with something a bit more sophisticated for the Hungarian countryside, but typically they serve the standards that Hungarians expect from their favorite restaurants. Many times the kitchen will do a better than average job, but every so often they make a mistake, either in serving a cold side or a less-than-premium offering. So their kitchen over the past 3.5 years has been somewhat even. Unfortunately this is somewhat normal of restaurants here in Hungary, especially so outside the captial. What stands out is that their service is top-notch with their courtesy and attention to details. From our occasional visits, many times their staff remember what we favor. When we did have problems with the kitchen, they took care of it quickly and without challenge. If you do go, and despite my fair review, if you are in or around Kecskemét, especially if you are on your way to Szentkirály or NyárlÅrinc or beyond, this is a really good place to stop for a meal in the area.
