We ate twice at Varelia during our stay in Kavala. I have only positive toughts about it.All the food we have tried was absolutely delicious. I totally recommend the fried baby calamari, the eggplant stuffed with garlic, tomatoes and feta cheese and bouiurdi. The staff is very friendly and they brought us free deserts both times. The prices are very good as well.

This is a nice restaurant with a rather small menu. We went there for lunch. We ordered maki (7 pcs), nigiri (5pcs), noodles and pappardelle with bacon and mushrooms. In my opinion both rice and noodles were rather overcooked. Average plate price were 12-14â¬. The restaurant is located downtown Kavala and it is elegantly decorated. The service is average. The kitchen is quick. It is good but does not provide 100% value for money. However this a good restaurant for Kavala's standards.

A friend recommended Epicure to us, so we gave it a try. We couldnât be happier, so much so that we have come back for lunch and dinner a few times over the past week. First, the service is great, they will take care of you and address any needs you may have. Second, the food, this place has what we have found to have the best steaks in town. Both regular and Dry-Aged are cooked the way you like and are very tasty. Third, the location, itâs across from the harbor and has a few of the Sea. To Summarize, if you are in Kavala and want to try a great restaurant, then Epicure is definitely worth a visit, or two or three, as was our case. Enjoy!Thank you Michael â¤ï¸

I tried the meat menu. Goat, pork, and chicken was good. Fresh cut fried potatoes. Salads are fresh. House wine is also good. Good service. Free wifi. The complimentary desert was not that good. It is a dissent choice if you are in Kavala and looking for a family tavern. In general good value for money.

Lots of choices on the harbor ... and it was the right pick.Staff is nice and very helpful. Food is yummy with all the classical Greek dishes we all want to enjoy and, it was a mixed crowd with tourists as us but also Greek people ;)Octopus was delicious as well as taramasalata!

We ate at Psaraki twice on our recent trip to Kavala. The food was excellent both times, particularly on the second trip when we had a whole fish grilled. The appetizers were good both times and the wine reasonably priced. Itâs true the staff speaks little English but, it is Greece after all. We will go back when we return.

What a difference with yesterday (Psaraki). Here they serve huge portions with very friendly staff. The pasta with shrimps was tasty and enormous!Highly recommended

During our family vacation in Kavala we had dinner three times at Sousouro, and every time it was great. Such a friendly staff, we were warm welcomed there. Food is also amazing, we tried many dishes and all of them were well cooked, we loved their home wine as well. Only good memories, we hope to come back at out favorite place in town.

Large group (17) of us visited the restaurant and ordered a variety of food (mainly seafood). Considering the size of the group the service was very quick. The food was excellent with the dishes that stood out being the octopus, calamari, mussels, soutsoukakia and courgette. The rest of the food was also very good.Location wise this is excellent overlooking the small marina and is very quiet. There is also loads of street parking near the restaurant. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Tsalapetinos is not a typical restaurant. In the morning it is a coffee shop - bistro kind of a place. In the evening it is a bar (some days it hosts bands and offers live music). It's brunch menu is one of the best I've ever tasted. I suggest trying the omelet and the cheese and bacon pancakes. Getting a table (or simply a spot to stand!) is not always easy escecially during weekends. Try getting there early or make a reservation (although I am not sure whether the place actually mekes reservations...).
