Discover Restaurants offering the best European food in Jerez De La Frontera, Andalucia, Spain. Southwest of Seville, Jerez is a well-heeled place. It’s the home of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and its famous dancing horses; if you’re on a budget or can’t be there for a formal performance, it’s worth dropping in to catch a morning training session. The other major reason to visit Jerez is to sample its most famous product—sherry. You can do this at a number of bodegas associated with the world’s best-known brands, including Bodegas Tio Pepe, The House of Sandeman, Jerez, and Pedro Domecq. They’ll soon have you knowing your amontillado from your oloroso. There’s also an Alcázar, dating back to the time of the Almohads, which features a small mosque, now the chapel of Santa María Real.

A food and wine experience in a corner grocer . Where savor fine cuisine and earth with the widest range of wines and brandies of Jerez wines of our stock
Had a fantastic meal here and went for the taster menu with a different sherry for each of the 5 courses. The waiter had a good knowledge of the sherry and this added to the occasion. Food was wonderful in taste and presentation and Iâd highly recommend a visit if your in Jerez Muchas gracias por su excelente valoración, es todo un placer que nuestros clientes queden plenamente satisfechos con nuestro servicio y nuestros platos. Esperamos recibirle de nuevo.Un saludo.

Family restaurant traditional cuisine with creative touches , homemade desserts , wine selected and suitable for almost any budget , Diners Hermanos Carrasco simplicity with Quality Assurance
This restaurant has an excellent menu including both meat and fish, the prominent display of beef does not indicate that this is a steak house! The wine list is also excellent including wine made by prominent makers from the region (donât look for a familiar Rioja try something different). We ate in the restaurant which is beautifully decorated in a contemporary style, the food was marvellous and the service just right, efficient but happy to discuss the options.Top Tips :- This IS an authentic modern Spanish restaurant with a tapas bar.To eat in the restaurant book for 9.30 or later and look up some Spanish phrases. Jerez is a real Spanish city, not Torremolinos so there is no reason why waiters should be able to speak the language of your home country. If you try then they will help you out if they do speak English etcSmart casual dress is normal when eating out in Spain but there are seldom any set rules - if you arrive dressed for the beach or a hiking trip you may feel uncomfortable but that is not the restaurantâs fault. We live in Jerez and will be dining at Hnos Carrasco tomorrow night with friends, I know that they will have a great night!

A bit tucked away next to la plaza San Dionisio, youâll find this really good little restaurant, which offers a good selection of Mediterranean dishes from Greece, Italy, Spain, to Marrocco. The moussaka was delicious and the kofta very tasty. Definitely worth a detour.

Most quality restaurants are closed in Jerez on Modays but I discovered this excellent venue. I had very enjoyable evening with excellent service and equally excellent food. Staff were very attentive and helpful and I started my meal with a dressed potatoe salad with Tuna, which was delicious. Often starters are rather bland but not this - very tasty yet subtle. For my second course I chose the grilled Octopus with potatoes and vegetables and it was superbly cooked - melted in the mouth not like chewing rubber Bands! I would certainly recommend this restaurant - and very reasonably priced.

Premises were originally the home of the Gonzales Biass family- the premises have been lovingly restored and this restaurant has the wow factor on all levels. Their biggest achievement is undoubtedly the wonderful dishes that are presented from their kitchen - presentation on plate is excellent. However a very close second is the business ethics - they employ many people on the team who have learning difficulties - this gives them an amazing and deserved opportunity and they most certainly deliver. A business worth supporting on ALL levels. A unique dining experience. Impossibly romantic premises when lit up at night.

Mediterranean food with an andalusi air. "The cuisine of the senses"
We did our research, carefully booked a table, and arrived to find we were the only diners in the restaurant that evening. Such a shame for the owners because the food was incredible. Nonetheless, we were treated very well, the food was fantastic - a real mix of Spain and North Africa and the waiter couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. It deserves to be full every night, if there is any justice, it will be. Go, you won't regret it.

Gastro-Tavern in Jerez City Center. Just few Steps away from monument tribute to "Lola Flores". (Atuvera was the name of her most famous song) We are located in former stables of a c.XVI house palace protected as artistic and historic patrimony of the cit
Unpretentious and cute little venue with a very casual and hip approach. The food was super nice and whilst not a fan of chickpeas, their chickpea salad completely amazed me.I can only recommend this place! Recommended come the bao buns, their vietnamese spring roll and the pulled pork sandwich!

La Nueva Riva, just off a quiet little square near to the Cathedral, was my best find in Jerez and is well worth seeking out. Unlike most other places in town, this little restaurant / bar opens at mid-day rather than the usual 13-30. I selected three tapas from an extensive list, (many other more substantial dishes available), which, with a desert and two âjarrasâ of ice cold beer, came to 17.50 euros. A small glass of PX sweet sherry came on the house. ALL were excellent and very nicely presented.Although not much English is spoken by the staff and regrettably, no Spanish whatsoever from my side, ordering was fun. Menus come on clipboards, one in Spanish and one in English. As I selected from my version, the head honcho compared it with his to take the order, which was spot on. Just a warning, the ice cold beer comes in a deeply frozen glass. The glass had my bottom lip out like a lavatory seat before I could part it. You will not be disappointed.

The tasting menu with wine pairing is a perfect opportuntiy to try different foods and wines that you would not necessarily order off an a la carte menu. It turned out to be a wonderful discovery here. Mix of meat, fish and veggie. They will do a veggie menu but prefer that they are notified in advance. Quality fresh ingredients presented extremely well on plate. Professional yet friendly service. The film - the 100 foot journey- increased the appeal and interest in sea urchins. Go and satisfy your curiosity here ! Just beautiful.
