This is our second visit to this small charming Spanish restaurant. Delicious food and charming surroundings.Salva the owner is so enthusiastic about the homemade dishes his wife cooks that you can rely on all his recommendations. We relied on his expertise in menu selection and were not disappointed. It's was a great way of trying cuisine that we wouldn't normally have tried.

Latvian chef very good always comes to ask if all ok, Spoke English which was a bonus. Large portions so we tended to share food and my husband has a big appetite. Can recommend the risottos,Iberian pork sirloin, grilled prawns and salmon in orange sauce. Salads are massive but so good. This became our favourite restaurant found at the end of our stay and lovely setting on seafront. Prices two thirds of the price in Portugal for food and drink!

Dropped in here for lunch on our last day after seeing a sign across a bridge advertising it. I had walked past the place twice every day and thought it was just the golf club - in some ways I am glad we didnât discover this place earlier as we would have virtually lived here and I would be coming home considerably heavier. We sat outside on the covered terrace - beautiful view. The whole place is very relaxed - some staff spoke English and some didnât so much. We ate pizzas and I had mushroom and Gorgonzola stuffed ravioli - it was amazing - but special mention has to go to the desserts which were spot on - would highly recommend the chocolate semifreddo and the imperial chocolate and mandarin desserts. We did get a little bit forgotten outside - but as we were in no hurry it was fine to sit and relax and enjoy the view. I would highly recommend a visit here.Dear Hiker_64OK,Thank you for your wonderful words in your recent visit to our facilities, highlighting our wonderful terrace overlooking the green, excellent service and delicious cuisine, with special mention to our dessert menu.It will be a pleasure to receive you as many times as you wish, we send you the best greetings.

Lines of people waiting for a table is not a common sight across this Spanish family holiday resort. There are very many outlets to sit in for a good supper or lunch.La Yema de Oro serves some of the best pizza ever and so a long queue should not be a surprise. And you will see them most evenings.Good fresh topping on delicious stone-baked bases - these masterpieces have to be the work of a true master in the kitchen.Great canteen atmosphere with attentive and helpful waiting staff. Oh, and mouthwatering pizzas.....They might consider a No Smoking rule - as might most of the rest of the Country - but otherwise this drop-in food spot is hard to beat.

Restaurant on the promenade of La Antilla in front of the sea and with a beatiful and comfortable living room. Specialty in fresh fish and seafood cooked on the grill or in salt. Excellent 100% iberico acorn ham. Large variety of paella and rice dishes. A
This is a mainly a seafood restaurant (recommended by our hotel) for it's pork. The menu was mainly seafood and there were a lot of options. However I don't eat seafood! Many local people seem to eat here (usually a good sign) and while the few places that were open had very few customers at this time of year, this one was busy. The staff were very occupied with the larger groups, but our service was ok. The wine menu offered good choices and we choose one we had had before and enjoyed at our hotel, but this was 5 euros less expensive. We had the 'Special pork' marinaded in - well who cares, but smoked paprika was there for sure. It was SUPERB.15 euros for the pork and fries per person. Could the pork and hand cut fries been better if accompanied by some vegetables? Yes it could (veg- properly cooked would have been an extra and welcome element to balance the meal) but the star was the pork, Succulent, tender and cooked with care, well that's what it tasted like! Should I return to La Antilla I would return to this restaurant for sure.

We are here one evening. The setting is lovely and the staff were very friendly. The menu is a bit confusing and we were swayed by the waitress to try a Japanese dish. Unfortunately this was very very salty and we sent it back. This was handled well and we were not charged for the dish or made to feel uncomfortable. Everything else that we ordered was good and overall we had a good visit.

... Just as we thought that everywhere was closed we came upon this little restaurant. (We had been hoping to find somewhere for lunch.) We enjoyed seafood soup followed by a montadito, which, to our surprise, came with a portion of chips! The soup was delicious. Excellent value - only 18 euros, which included bread, olives and a 1.5 litre bottle of mineral water. The menu was extensive for those seeking an evening meal or a heavier lunch.

We have been coming to La Montanera for 16 years and have enjoyed every meal weâve ever had here. The service is excellent and discreet. The cuisine is superb, always with new dishes to try. The croquetas are the best in Spain! The restaurant is always full with regulars and visiting Spaniards. Weâre glad to hear that other nationalities have now found our little secret. We come here on every visit, wouldnât miss it for the world.Estimado cliente, muchas gracias por su amable opinión, nos llena de orgullo.Esperamos verle de nuevo pronto por aquÃ.Saludos.
