Was here for ETA training in March. Great for a fondue outing. Pleasant owner and great fondue. They also have a modest salad bar that is at no extra charge. Also great views all around you can even see the French alps.
A bistro and bar with live music. Awesome atmosphere, you'll think your in San Francisco or something.

We came for afternoon drinks and coffees. Service was very friendly and attentive. Coffees and drinks tasted great and we had a nice view to the airport activities.

Awesome view of the "Alps" and the "Seeland" valley. Super "Bratwurst" after a walk in the sunshine on the Jura mountain

One of the best Restaurant in Grenchen, very professional and friendly staff. Italian food is delicious and the choice of red wine is more than we expected.I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited at lunchtime and took the menu offered. Came with a small salad with italian dressing that really did not have much taste and was very small. The main meal followed and was also very small and french cuisine like. Taste was ok, but just not enough.Pizzas looked good though.Ordered a cappuccino and got the smallest cup I have had so far in Switzerland. To add insult to injury the coffee was mainly foam, and luke warm.Overall ok, but nowhere near as good as the Italian feldschlossen restaurant 200 metres farther up the hill. Sadly it is closed on Mondays.Really tight parking spaces as well.

I visited Chapelli with a couple friends for lunch on a Sunday. It's one of the few restaurants open on Sunday, especially for lunch. The location of the restaurant is lovely - in the hills of Grenchen about 3 kms from the main street. It would be a nice place to go when the weather is nice, but even though it was raining when we went, it had good ambiance. Their menu is quite small, but that's a good thing because then they can really focus on what they do have. Everything was super fresh and it was very good. It was quite reasonably priced for Switzerland, especially considering how fresh everything was. From my recollection, my friend got Flammkuchen for 16 CHF (could have been 18 CHF though), I got a pasta with chicken and asparagus for 26 CHF, and my friend's husband's meal (I forget what he got, but I attached a picture - the meat dish) was in the upper 30s. The first two meals were written on a blackboard, so they are probably not available regularly. The last meal was on their regular menu. They also had a 3 or 4 course set menu, which I believe was around 70-80 CHF. Overall, I would definitely go back and plan to take my husband some time soon. PS: They take reservations, which I would recommend because the restaurant is not very big.

We had the businessman's lunch. The soup I suspect, was canned. The roast was alright but the edge was a tad tough. It was too well done for my taste. It came with croquettes which were dry.The house red wine was good. The food wasn't bad, just not interesting or particularly flavorful. The place was full. Perhaps I was there on a bad day for the cook? My friend and I stayed rather long but the staff were very polite and did not rush us.
