This Bavarian restaurant was a pleasant find in Puchheim, a quiet village on the western edge of Munich. The menus were only in German, but Holger, the owner, was friendly and accommodating. He and his wife speak excellent English and were able to answer all of our questions and recommend selections according to our tastes. The food was well-prepared and everything was fresh. Local beers and deserts completed the offerings. What a great compliment - thanks a lot at all! We enjoyed reading your rating very well.It was very pleasant to serve you at our restaurant individually and we are looking forward to accomodate you soon! heartfelt greetings to all of you by our Team!

We went there on a sunday evening for dinner and had a real enjoyable stay. The Food was tasty and the service fast and very friendly. The only thing that could have been better was the bread which could have been a little more crispy - but then - it was no baguette. So nothing to complain.

We had several dinner at tis location, sometimes more than 30 Persons, we had a perfect Service, friendly, fast, ... The food is "better than Moms", so lets say simply excellent. The Atmosphere is warm, nice and what you wanna have in a real bavarian"Wirtshaus".

ideally located on the way to the industrial areas, it offers a selection of reasonably priced (and very delicious) organic meals. Beware, occassionally some of the choices have already been eaten. Flawless service and a clean restaurant with a spacious outside seating area complete the picture. However a word of warning... all the food is freshly prepared so it takes a bit to get served.

A very unassuming exterior hides a well appointed and large restaurant staffed by women. Very good food, interesting and very well presented. I had asparagus with chicken which had been roasted with truffle under the crisp skin,a total winner. All four of us were impressed with the food, the extensive wine list and the sheer niceness of the waiting staff.Dear Susan2395,Thank you for taking your time to share your impressions from your visit here on TripAdvisor. What a pleasure to read your kind review. It´s a real delight, that you enjoyed your dinner last sunday in our restaurant. We´re looking forward to welcome you once again.Best regards from Pasing!Christina LeippiRestaurant manager

This is one of those places where you think it may be possible to find amazing home cooked Bavarian food, unfortunately it is not. The interior is dated and not in rustic kind of way. Bathrooms smell and look like the ones at the average train station. The menu is rather short in selection and the dishes we tried were best described as "freezer package" food.Everything from the watery salad dressing, over the bland Spätzle to the just okay sauces was simply underwhelming.Patrons were mostly small groups of men drinking beer and talking about their day. Again this reminded much more of a train station bar than a traditional Bavarian restaurant. We had much more flavorful food and variety at Wirtshaus Burkart.

I ate here on a business trip to Germering. It was the restaurant closest to the hotel (Hotel Mayer) and therefore very convenient. The menu for this restaurant is huge and you get a complimentary shot of Ouzo to start off with (take it or leave it). The wine was nice, and the portions huge - and the food delicious yet reasonably priced. Would definitely eat here again.

When we visit Germering we always have dinner here and have never been disappointed. It is a fabulous family run Italian restaurant. The food is of high quality made with fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked. They always make us so welcome with friendly and excellent service. A great local Italian restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.
