Wandering the narrow caruggi alleyways of Genoa is a bit like solving a medieval labyrinth. In the heart of the Italian port city lies Piazza de Ferrari, a main square with a beautiful fountain and a perimeter lined with historic buildings, including the Palace of the Doges the Teatro Carlo Felice, which was destroyed during WWII and subsequently rebuilt. The seaside neighborhood of Boccadasse is vision of pink and yellow buildings that brighten up this lovely fishing village.

The pasta, the lasagna, the beer and the foccacia were exquisite. We were a family of 4 (2 kids of 5&6). They were super friendly! The prices are budget friendly and the portions are just right, big eaters take a large.Thank you for the lovely dinner!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while talking a walk in the hotel neighbourhood. We didn't have big expectations, but even if we had they would have been met. The waiter where charming and dedicated, the food where really good and the presentation just as good. Right before we left the chef came out to say thanks for the visit and talk about the dishes. Sorry about the bad pictures, but we sat outside in the evening with bad light.

Our activity is predominantly family-run, in the kitchen Charles and in the dining Grace, to marry flavors and feelings with fish of Genoa and surroundings. Mixed Appetizer, even with raw fish, ravioli and noodles with seafood or lobster, Rossetti only in
I know this restaurant since more than 10 years and I definitely recommend it to all lovers of fresh sea food, cooked with professional care in a homy atmosphere.Pros:1. Sea food freshness: the cook/owner is in business since 50 years and he knows how to select, cook and serve the best catch of the day. 2. Meal quality, quantity and appearance: meals are abundant, made of best ingredients and with the classy touch of the professional.3. Restaurant atmosphere: homy/family rather than poshy, owners often come to your table checking if all is OK.4, Service: good, attentive but not oppressive. During last dinner there was one single waiter and we waited for a few minutes between courses, but nothing annoying.5. Quality consistence: we tried the entire menu over the years and the same quality was always there. You can't get something wrong here.6. Cleanliness: kitchen is just immaculate, owner invites you to check. Cons:1. Location: out of town centre, you have to drive 20 min up a typically Genoese narrow, overparked street; parking is not always available inside or close to the restaurant.Price is fair: we spent 115 ⬠for 2 x 3 course meals, including one bottle of decent Pigato @ 15 ⬠i.e 50 ⬠without drinks. You can surely spend 10-30% less in other good restaurants in town, but not get the same freshness/quality.Summing up: a sure thing for fish freaks who are not scared of a tricky trip: thumbs up.Gentile cliente non posso che ringraziarla per la sua recensione, la costanza delle sue visite e della qualità che ha espresso come elemento costante mi confermano che uno dei miei intenti è raggiunto. Good pizza. Cool with a combo of pasta and pizza. Tomato sauce could have been a bit mote flavour. Desert with nutella and pistaccio didnt feel like a desert and more like a sandwich, but maybe it schould be like that. But anyways recommended to try out, food was good!Thank you very much!

Really nice local food. Everyone was welcoming. Only the place a bit noisy. The service is fast. I recommend, itâs a place to visit again...

Although this small restaurant looks unassuming from the outside and you have to ring the doorbell to gain admittance, once inside you're in for a culinary treat. Menu is entirely seafood based and is high end cooking elevating it above the excellent trattorias we've enjoyed across Liguria. Attentive staff, amuse bouche and an least seven different types of freshly made bread are provided as part of the meal. Two starters, two main meals, dessert and a glass of wine cost under 100 Euros. Not cheap but this is a place for a special meal whilst in Genoa.

We visited this lovely pasta eatery, in the old part of town, near the port. The service was very friendly, and it is a nice, relaxed place to eat. The vegan ravioli with vegan pesto sauce was amazing, thank you! The different recycling bins are a great idea too.

We saved this for our last night in the hope of something special. It got of to a good start but after we had ordered my wife was told that her fish was not available. In fact, a significant proportion of the fairly limited menu was not available. But it really came of the rails when a table for 14 was set up next to us.The party was very noisy, as would be expected but they also wanted the door open as they were hot. We finished our main course in a howling draft and left without dessert. We spoke to the staff at every stage but they took no action.

Some of the best food we have had in Italy, soft flavours and good presentation, no gimmicks or fireworks; the chef allows the freshness and preparation to speak for themselves. Good wines and service plus a pear and chocolate tart to die for!!
