My Associate ordered a steak covered with cheese and tomato sauce it was ok not anything to write home about, edible. His portion was large I am glad because he had to eventually share with me. My food was BAD ! I ordered pasta Bolognese. Well food took forever to come out, mine came out about 10 minutes before my Associates (this should never occur). Mine was badly cooked (hard) pasta with a "dark sauce with 1/2" cubes of meat" not ground beef. They called this Bolognese sauce. It was horrible I could not eat it. When I sent it back the waiter who claimed he was from Italy said to me, that "he would NOT have recommended the pasta Bolognese"??? Why did he not say this earlier when I was ordering ? What have I got to say, an Italian Restaurant that makes lousy pasta Bolognese ! Obviously they would Never survive in USA with their quality. Prices ridiculous high even though I was paying in Dollars. CANNOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

We traveled from the USA for our son's wedding and contacted Priscila at La Cave about planning a rehearsal, dinner, and cocktail party for those in the wedding and those traveling from a distance. Planning such an event from another country with differing languages, cultures, etc. can be challenging, but Priscila worked with us and accommodated everything we requested. The evening was a huge success ~ the food and wine were delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was good. Everyone said it was the best rehearsal dinner they had ever been to! I highly recommend La Cave! Thank you, Priscila and Gustavo!!Ola ! Grato pela visita e pela avaliação!

The owner and host was extremely friendly. The options were excellent and the food was delicious. The vegetarian dish (a mushroom pasta) was over-priced, costing the same as a filet steak...but other than that all was excellent. The actual restaurant is very cute, with mood lighting and excellent music.

I happened to find out about this place at the last day of my trip and it was worth it. Chef Rampineli creations were delicious and visually gorgeous. Sommelier Junior was very knowledgeable and friendly, which made our meal even more pleasant. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a special meal. Elegant interior and cozy atmosphere.Descobri esse bistro no meu ultimo dia em Jurere e que sorte eu tive. O chef Rampineli criou pratos deliciosos e visualmente deslumbrantes. O sommelier Junior foi impecavel e demostrou vasto conhecimento, resultando em uma noite agradavel e inesquecivel. Ambiente elegante e acolhedor. Definitivamente recomendo!

Chef Paolo in person received us at the front door this Sunday for a pleasant lunch in family.Our choice was perfect! Pasta and sea food as Paolo recommend. He himself prepared the dishes.Reserve some space for desert... Delicious!At the end, a homemade limoncello (prepared by Paolo's wife) and an Italian espresso.No words to describe the feeling after all!

Most of the restaurant overlooks the (currently semi-defunct) suspension bridge, and serves traditional Portuguese food. We had a tasty crab + shrimp starter, and shared a large main course of grilled cod, onions, peppers, and potatoes that was very nicely done. They're not shy about using olive oil and salt. We also enjoyed the pastel de Belem (served hot; I think the one I had in Belem was at room temperature). The waiter was friendly, efficient, and spoke more than enough English. Note that the room we were in was warm in August and it might be hotter in the summer.

Nice experience in a sophisticated restaurant (specially for a beach place). Really good food, prices were reasonable (a bit expensive for the city, but consistent with the service provided). I chose seafood and my wife, pasta. It was delicious.

We went to this restaurante to celebrate our marriage anniversary and really liked the food. What was not very nice was the managerâs insistence in serving us the most expensive choice in the menu. As well as expensive drinks etc. I found rude and impolite once europeans do not appreciate this kind of approach.

It was my second time there. I took my friends there to eat the famous ravioli . It was delicious. The problem was the noise. There was a huge table with people laughing and Talking too loud. But the Service was great. I recommend.

I am a little perplexed by all of the 5 blobs reviews. The staff were very friendly so they get 5 blobs, but the food was only OK. So many bones in the salmon that I couldn't eat it, everything else just a bit bland.Hello, We're sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us. And I speak in experience, because that is what we propose to do, in the most affectionate way possible. We respect food, for us there is no mediocre food. We have seen that you are a traveler's lover, and make evaluations of renowned restaurants. Our proposal is to be a simple restaurant, with honest food, at the right price. We hope that you can always be interested in proposing the places you go to, that you can relax and enjoy your moment. Pimples on fish are as normal as a bone in a T-bone, or cartilage on a lobster. This is real food! Enjoy your days in Brazil!
