We had a great meal and the service was fantastic. It's a Italian family run restaurant and the pasta is homemade.

it is the moment of the holidays we wish to thank our kind customers for its fidelity. we will be closed from July 19 to August 22, 2019 thank you
Tonton Garby gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived at his restaurant. We helped us choose our sandwiches and was very thorough in explaining the ingredients. Theyâre very generous with the cheese and meats so the sandwiches are very tasty. I loved #7. We went back to eat there again after a week and I was surprised that he recognized me (despite serving hundreds of customers in a day) and said âI never forget a smileâ

We like to try the best restaurants when we visit different cities and Le Rabassier is one of Brussels' best. It's menu is choice of four degustation/ tasting menus for various fixed prices. We chose the second one at â¬90 each. Each menu contains similar dishes with the differences being the number of dishes increasing with each step in price. The food was excellent and the wine list extensive. While it was excellent in quality we found the flavours quite strong in some of the dishes (mainly the Parmesan )which took from our total enjoyment. My favourite was the venison which was sooo tender and delicious. It is a small venue with seating for 20 and there was 16 on our night. Making a reservation would be advisable The service was impeccable. Highly recommended

The time to read the menu, we were offered an aperitif, an "improved", tasty Prosecco⦠Nice surprise. The choice of meals is large, each of our group of four found his preferred lunch. Light for ladies, heavier for men. I went for lentils with smoked pork knuckle. Unfortunately, the juicy piece of pork knuckle I was dreaming about appeared to be just few pieces of meat dropped on the lentils. The taste was nice but it was not what I expected. My friends largely enjoyed their meal. Which was promptly served, no long waiting time to see first food arriving. At the end we were offered a Grappa or Limoncello. With winter outside, hard to refuse... Overall a positive experience, booking in advance for the lunch time is strongly recommended in this offices area.

Having lunch in 65 degrés once a month I can very strongly recommend this unique restaurant. Food has always been very good although an understandable limited choice. The professionalism and kindness of the mentally handicapped staff is to be praised and the commitment of the manager is remarquable. Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate... We hope to see you soon ;-)

We visited this restaurant with our friends in the middle of Sep after 9 PM. Were impressed by food (steaks were fantastic especially), beer (good selection with different type of taste) and very good service. Do you need something else on top of what is mentioned? We do not! So enjoy please!

Welcome to the Stirwen! To cook, to host, to satisfy...Our principle is based on our passion for gastronomy. In Brussels, at the heart of the Jourdan area, in the shadow of the European institutions, the Stirwen restaurant is a place in which well-eating
I am sorry to mark poor rating for overpricing on sparking water no matter how good at the cooking. The one litre SPA costed me 10 euro but the same one in supermarket is selling at 0.62 euro. Itâs multiple 16 times. Does it make sense? Maybe your restaurant was starred but frankly speaking itâs not my first time to try similar quality restaurant even much famous and better. Even famous hotel , Mandarin oriental hotel , itâs grill house priced their wine in multiple 3-5 only. Usually, I trust the professionalism in the restaurant and such that I didnât check the price and to follow the suggestion. Also, I donât expect such overwhelming price of water in Brussels. It wonât be happened in Paris and London. I am quite disappointed for it to make comment here!!! The staff serviced well with good suggestion on wine pairing with the starter. Impressive. One point is to remind that tuna is not fresh enuf. The main course for the pork is cooked well but the curry sauce with peanut seems not intense , not Thai, not japan, not India one. Cannot tell how it taste indeed. The side dish esp. the potato is pan well, crunchy surface and soft inside. Dessert is ok.MerciDear KidultCoolfirst of all... ouf, the food was good, and you had a relative Pleasant lunch (at least it's what you said when you left the restaurant.About the pork, it's absolutely not a curry sauce (neither japonese, indian, nor thai, nor either part of the world), just a classical french Brown jus with some peanuts butter and chinese saté Inside⦠Nothing more ;-)Then, thanks for the 2 stars rate for your good moment in our restaurant! ;-) (it's ironic, just in case if you do not understand) your comment about the price of water gives me a platform for some explanations:your emotion is understandable, but your argument is somewhat truncated â¦Let's start from the premise that a restaurant is a for-profit company and that its goal is to make profit (in the preamble, know that it is the same prices everywhere in Brussels in this type of establishment .. and that it is cheaper than in Paris)First of all: we do not sold it really 10â¬, in fact it's 8.26 â¬, the rest is the value Added tax (1.73â¬) like mentionned on your photo ⦠we call that the TVA and it's directly for the State ;-) Secundly, after delivering in the restaurant, water costs us around 1.20⬠⦠yes our provider doesn't work for free (he has to pay his employees, his truck, fuel, tax, and soâ¦) --> yes we have a ratio of 6.8 for the water⦠but It's quite less than in Paris where water is cheapest in supermarket (they have no tax on water in France, like we have in Belgium) and where the sold it on higher price, like Shangri-la (8⬠for 1/2 l (5⬠in the Stirwen) 11⬠for a liter ⦠and with a VAT of 10% (21% in Belgium) to summarizeBelgium : buy 1.20⬠(vat excluded) --> 8.26⬠(vat ex) => 10⬠(vat included) the price you payFrance : buy 0.55⬠(vat excluded) --> 10 â¬( vat excluded) => 11 ⬠(vat included) the price you payDid you really imagine one second that a restaurant will really sell a bottle of water at 2⬠(multiple x3.5) and earns less than 1.20⬠for giving you a 100% cotton toppings, tablecloth,, high level porcelain and cutlery, three kinds of fresh bread, two kinds of butter (from local craftsmen), organic olive oil â¦noooo you are too smart to Believe the opposite ;-)since you stayed more than one hour at table (and it's our pleasure to se you having good time) ⦠since you were not in a crownded restaurant with no napkins where they Don't allow you to stay long time because they want to sell the table a second time and give you frozen industrial bread and butter (which has only butter in the name) ⦠and where they finally sell you water at 8⬠.. me personnaly, I prefer giving 2more euros! For your information, It's the same argumentation about the coffee/tea thing (And just in case of⦠my average multiple for wines is around 2,5 ;-) ;-) )It was a pleasure

This is a small and wonderful restaurant to which we regularly return. The menu changes with seasons (in the autumn/winter try their amazing game dishes) and the food is very tasty and cooked to perfection. Mr Domingos, who serves the meals, is an expert on drinks and has a great selection of prime wines, liquors (gins particularly) and rare beers. Book and you will not be disappointed! Highly recommended, by far the best restaurant in the area.

Tasty cuisine and delicate cellar. Italian restaurant specialized in pastas, home made antipasti and pizzas. Real " Tavola di Pasta " , Ricotta & Parmesan is specialist in Italian pasta and antipasti (all house made) since its creation in 1999 . In 2015 a
On our last night in Brussels, we discovered Riccota & Parmesan when we wandered by their kitchen and saw the wood-fired pizza oven in use. Both the view and the aroma were enticing, so we opted to make our last evening meal a pizza. What a find!We ordered their burrata pesto pizza and here is where typical gives way to extraordinary. I swear that it was easily the best pizza I have ever had anywhere. The base layer of mouth-watering red sauce, coupled with the drizzle of fresh-made pesto atop the creamiest, freshest burrata I've ever sampled, and the crisp/chewy charred wood-fired crust I've ever enjoyed made this transcendent. Both my husband and I devoured every last bite of that pizza (along with a side order of the quintessential Belgian shrimp dumplings), and we contemplated ordering an additional pizza to take with us on the plane! I rarely rave over meals. I may enjoy them, but this time, I was so taken with the meal, I am actually looking forward to when we can return to Brussels so I can skip the dozens of delectable preparations of mussels and the endless national smorgasbord of pommes frites and head straight to this little slice of pizza heaven. If you are heading the the capital of the EU, then make it a point to pay Riccota & Parmesan a visit. You won't be disappointed.Honestly, your review made our day! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely comment! Before the end of this month, we are launching our new menu with delicious antipasti, platters of charcuteries and cheeses to share and many new discoveries, perhaps it would be the perfect opportunity to come visit us again? Looking forward seing you again in our restaurant, please contact us at [email protected] for your next reservation, we'll make sure to make your next visit even more special!"Ricotta & Parmesan, making food lovers happy since 1999".
