We really enjoyed our first (and certainly not last) visit to this restaurant in the centre of Walton on Thames. It was busy on a Friday lunchtime and we could see why.There was an impressive range of dishes on the menu. We received a warm welcome. My veal with mushrooms was excellent and my wife said that her calves liver was top notch.We will return...and soon

Finally visited Cappadocia, on Sunday evening. The service was friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent...full, fresh flavours and generous portions. The decor and atmosphere were delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Some one recently complained they were rushed into ordering. This was not the case for us. We found the service excellent. Really enjoyed my sea bass. Two large fillets which were much bigger than anywhere else I've had them. We were there midweek so fairly quiet and the 2 or 3 children had gone by 8.00.

Birthday lunch booked last minute, it was a set menu with a great selection, hard to choose as everything sounded delicious, we loved our food, amazing taste and high quality, portions were a good size and the service impeccable.Cannot wait to return to this local gem!

Jean-Philippe, Kim and Jerome have run Le Petit Nantais with impeccable passion and dedication for more than 20 years, and yet they all still manage to make every visit feel like a special occasion. I went with my family today and had roast pork with honey and ginger, boudin noir and pommes puree which was amazing. Others had traditional cassoulet, and steak poivre.JP and Mrs are always delightful to chat to, and Jerome does a great job always. Even if he did forget to tell me about the Rose Veal. Thanks you Petit Nantais, and thank you JP for the wonderful piece of veal you gave me for my birthday. Le Petit Nantais, classic French cuisine, cooked by a gifted and experienced chef, in a well run place. Thank you very much we really appreciate you taking the time to post a lovely review. We had brunch here a couple of weeks ago. The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection. The service was exemplary and the atmosphere was relaxing and chilled. If I lived closer, I would visit regularly but Cornwall is a bit far to travel every Sunday! Many thanks to Ollie who served us - nothing was too much trouble. He is a credit to the Seven Bluebirds.

Very disappointed to see a couple of poor reviews here because we were delighted with our first visit here. The friendly and very knowledgeable personal service from the owner was delightful (although to be fair her very foreign and very young waitress was a little out of her depth). Her husband in the kitchen has some serious skills in both preparation and presentation, and his previous experience with Leith and Ramsay shines through.For a 2 rosette restaurant prices are sensible for the quality offered, especially the wine flight accompanying the tasting menu at only an additional £20 which represents excellent value. Above all for us, as experienced diners, it was particularly refreshing to be served by someone with good personal knowledge of her menu and its ingredients, and of her wine list. We did test her on both of these and were impressed with the accuracy of her replies. When I queried her recommended dessert wine the offer of a free glass was a very nice touch.A nice little family run business with a serious attitude to their craft and well deserving of their 2 rosettes. Highly recommended.

The lobster linguine was delicious! One of the best pastas I had outside of Italy. It was a Saturday night, so quite busy, but wait staff shared responsibilities which made service better than I had anticipated. I will definitely recommend, and will be back to the restaurant again.

Had a great night loved everything and the gluten free options were amazing. The regular menu and gluten free menu had sooooo many options it took us almost half an hour to decide what to eat and everything we chose was delicious

Yesterday my wife and I came across this fantastic little restaurant when looking somewhere different for lunch.
