Visited with friends, as I had heard they had good âstjerneskudâ.There were not many customers, so we got a nice table outside and the waiter brought the menus and disappeared... when we were ready to order, I went to get him. We then wait a little for our drinks and a long time for our food (weâll weâre with friends we have not seen in years, so no problem as we were talking a lot), the âstjerneskudâ is ok, but with only fried fish (The type you buy breaded frozen) and not, like traditionally 1 fried and 1 steamed.Taste was ok.We finished our meal and was waiting for the waiter to ask, if we wanted more or wanted to pay.... nothing. Again I had to go and let them know we wanted to pay.All in all: itâs a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal, but donât expect the fastest/best service.

Great fast service and lovely food a highly recomended lunch stop and well worth a visit. Menus in Danish and German (did not find an English one) but with guesswork and some help got to order what I wanted. Coffee here is lovely too. It's an old post office and still looks as though it has the original counter. Great building.
The café offers light lunches with a special focus on aesthetics. Our goal is to become the best café in Esbjerg. Here you can order a meal To Go and book a meetingroom with seating for 8 people. The gallery exhibits art created by local artists, and the

Quite small selection for evening but very nicely presented and well prepared dishes. Not too sophisticated but value for money. Would be nice if they would add a fish main couse to the menu

Have been here several times, love the cozy, friendly and laidback atmosphere of the place. They serve great food at affordable prices, my favorite is the Frederik Burger, yummy they serve brunch saturday and sunday, are open evenings too, sometimes they have different live entertainment evenings. Friendly staff, quite busy on weekends.
A café situated in a carefully renovated building from 1560. The place is the very essence of modern day Danish âhyggeâ. The food and beverages are all made from scratch (predominately vegan food) with a strong focus on sustainabiliy. Very friendly, serviceminded and knowledgable staff. Huge selection of delicious wine. Highly recommend the carrot/chickpee falafel sandwich, the chevre chaud salat, the salmon salad, the ice-coffee, the ice-tee with rhubarb and... and.. (Everything on the menu is great..) And they have out-door fascilites too... Try it - you wonât be dissapointed !

While staying at the Britannia, we enjoyed a couple of lunches at the Brasserie and the food and service were good. The menu choice is not extensive, but there is sufficient variety for most tastes. Fish and seafood predominate with some good Danish specialities and very fresh ingredients. Service was good, the bill not expensive (although, irritatingly, a credit charge surcharge is applied; maybe a Danish thing - the taxi did it too).

Loftet, is a restaurant where we emphasize ecology, Danish and local produce. You can choose between 6 and 8 servings, with and without wine menu. 1. Serving is always a glass of bubbles and snacks.
We had a dinner on a Friday. Service was excellent, all the dishes were well explained in English, and the staff were friendly. I went for the 8 courses menu (100 euros) and the food exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

This is pizza-pasta house offering also Mexican food. The name of the restaurant could be somewhat misleading. The place is in the end of the main pedestrian street, opposite of Scandic hotel. There is small terrace which is nice to eat outside. Indoor decoration is like saloon, brown wood and cart wheel decorations. We ate here two times. Service was basic and fairly quick. Although one waiter pushed over a drink in neighbor table. There is cheaper lunch menu but all dishes are modestly priced. Pizzas, pastas, Mexican were all good, nothing special but tasty basic food. Kids has own menu. This is reasonably priced place offering tasty food with lots of options. Well worth of money.
