Reviews on European food in Driebergen, Utrecht Province, The Netherlands. Driebergen is a former village and municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is first mentioned as Thriberghen in 1159. The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

My favourite time is sitting on the terrace and having drinks in the sun. However, it is warm and cozy inside during the winter months. Great vibes, good food. The service is sometimes a little slow and could improve.

We can not praise this restaurant enough! There is a menu, but the 3, 4 or 5-course surprise meal always makes our night (you can exclude certain ingredients). The service is relaxed yet flawless. Your glass will never be empty. Often the chefs will bring out the plates and explain what they prepared. Do make a reservation! Parking in the streets around the restaurants.

This is a lovely restaurant to go to with your children! The pancakes are really good but also the other food. I found the service very pleasant..

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, elegant and a great value for this bike friendly area. The pool, sauna, and dining are family friendly. The menu was excellent! My guess is they will have a Michelin Star very soon. Everything about the dining experience was top drawer. The fact that the hotel dates back to Neapolian just makes it more special.

Nice restaurant with a good food selection. We were 6 so we just asked for a set of starters to share which seems a good choice. The beef tartare was great also seafood. Only tomatoes and mozzarella were to plane.Followed by mains and deserts. Take their grilled veal stake as it tasted really good. In general very good food and friendly service. So far best restaurant for me in the area.

Just went here for a quick bite and short business discussion.Ate their beef carpaccio nicely flavoured with herbs and balsamic vinegar. Do not worry for the rest as the carpaccio is simply so good that you do not want to eat anything else.

We had a farewell dinner with colleagues working in the organic agriculture. What better place is there to go than Groenland. A well known organic restaurant close by our office. The place has been refurbished nicely a while ago and now it provides pleasant seating indoor and also outdoor when the weather allows this. The menu is not abundant but there is ample choice and apart from the menu there are daily changing dishes in vega/fish/meat. So a choice for everyone. The appetizer of the day was lacking today but also there a good choice with also salads and sort of "tapas" on wooden platters. The food is accompanied by a good choice or organic wines, not cheap but very tasteful. And also the desserts were good with sweets and also cheeses in large and smaller versions. I loved the bread that was served as an amuse. This restaurant proves that organic food can also be delicious.

Pleasantly surprised with the great menu. Chose the veal starter - absolutely excellent. Asparagus was on the menu so we chose the asparagus mains. No-one was dissapointed. Excellent winelist and we were also offered some wines which were not on the menu and chose the Montgras Quatro - excellent choice. The service was also friendly and attentive. This restaurant is a definate if u in the vicinity.

When we walked in we thought it looked nice but not outstanding, yet the food was just awesome and creative. The service was some of the best we have ever had and the wine selections were right on.The food was extraordinary and made it a very good experience.Even though the setting was not overwhelming the food and service more than compensated for it.The only downer was dessert which was all green and just not that appetizing.Just so sad for a meal where everything else was awesome. The fish they served was incredible with just the right seasoning and flavor.Left very satisfied!

We are regulars. I like that the menu changes more often than with regular restaurants. The portion are smaller, but that just means you can taste more. Many wines by the glass and always something special available as well. I always enjoy this place. However my husband doesn't like the size of the portions, but likes the flavours of the food. he prefers the portion to be a little bit bigger.
