We passed this restaurant a couple of times in the car, but it didn't look too appealing. However we walked the 200 metres from the centre of Talloires and discovered the landslide eating area.Although a bit windy on our first night the setting was ideallic. The food was excellent and the owner was really helpful. In fact it was so good we went back a second night (a very rare occurrence for us). There was no wind on the second evening, so even better.

It is worth a trip to Talloires to visit this restaurant. You can take the lake boat or a water taxi. If the weather is good the setting is beautiful. The food is outstanding, although expensive, it is worth the price.Dear Compound7Thank you for sharing your experience with us on TA.I am delighted that you ejoyed your meal with us.Of course to magnificient the experience you can come with a private boat to enjoy our wonderful setting. Hope we have the pleasure to welcome you once again soon , Warm Regards, Nicolas Bise

A shelter A small place on the shore of the lake with a private jetty. Enjoy the charming and simple but elegant atmosphere. Bath at noon, top cooking at night ... Families are welcome.
The petit Paradis deserves its name, due to the location. It is definitely one of the best venue for dinning on a hot summer night, just by the lake side. However, the price to pay and the lack of quality food makes it s little bitter for he hefty bill to be swallowed. I remember the set menu offering about four choices for starter, main and sweets. Some were not available, but option were given for missing items: Fera was replaced by trout (half the price at the market but no discount on the bill). Many starters are ready made food out of tins (rillettes de fera comes from a local dealer, but is not made on site). Prices of wine are outrageous....So as a bottom line: you go there for the location, you don;t eat badly but certainly not for the price you pay (55 euros par head without drinks in a set menu). A la carte is not any cheaper...

After a long walk today we headed to the restaurant expecting hearty rural food as per reviews on trip advisor. The setting was magnificent, as was listening to the constant ringing of cow bells throughout our meal. I had the mushroom tart which was small and had little flavour. It was accompanied by a salad of lettuce leaves and sundried tomatoes, certainly not a hearty meal. My husband had duck breast with mashed potato and a few mangetout. He said the flavour was good.I had the chocolate pudding which was not good and my husband's coffee was disappointing. The setting made it a great experience, but the food was not what other reviews led us to expect.

Bistrot du Coin in the charming village of Doussard just by the bottom end of Lake Annecy provides exactly what visitors to France look for - well-sourced, quality French produce, perfectly cooked and presented by the knowledgeable and enthusiastic chef patron, served by a friendly and helpful waitress at reasonable prices. France on a plate! What more could you want?

Nice restaurant with view on lake annecy. Spacious terrace, with lots of room for children.Apparently only visitors from France and us (NL), which for me is always a good sign. The service was good. The food also, had a good tartiflette. Steaks were cooked well. Will definitely return to enjoy their cheese fondue, which looked great to me.

We dropped into the scenic restaurant on our self drive holiday . We are from Australia and speak very poor French ( which we always apologise for) , we had planned on having a meal at this restaurant until we over heard one of the male managers scolding the young waitress who had helped us in French/English ( so we could begin our order) he was reprimanding her for speaking English and we realised not only had we got her into trouble but this restaurant obviously didnât welcome tourists . If you donât speak fluent French I wouldnât recommend this restaurant , we found another with just as spectacular views who helped us with our broken French and were just lovely .

The restaurant, in a Savoyard decor, offers excellent home made cuisine, prepared with authentic products.
Charming french hotel & restaurant with very welcoming owners and staff. I have eaten here many times and it never fails to please. It's just a pity that we have nothing like it here in Devon!

The menu is pretty standard - steaks, burgers, but with one or two nice little twists. For instance my burger came with two rosti cakes instead of bun and the cheese was a local Reblochon - quite delicious. The meat is sourced locally, too. We were in a hurry so perhaps did not do the place justice. They have a vast selection of rums from all over the Caribbean. Iâd be happy to eat there again. Good honest food, served quickly and with friendly staff.
