Reviews on European food in Domburg, Zeeland Province, The Netherlands. Historic Domburg has been a destination for seaside vacationers since the mid 18th century. Wide beaches, sandy dunes and bustling boardwalks make this a popular summertime vacation spot. Renowned artists like Piet Mondrian have taken inspiration from the picturesque scenery. The beach-weary can walk or bike around De Manteling nature reserve, which opens serendipitously onto Westhove Castle.

I love this place, especially this time of the year when it is not that busy.Normally we always sit outside but I have to admit it was to cold this January night to sit outside even thought the infrared heating is.I had my favorite pizza blue cheese with banana, so delicious and a Glas of merlot.Everything is very tasty so it doesn't really matter what you choose. But if you fancy something sweet try the Belgian Waffel, it's absolutely perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, I prefer it with butter and sugar, unhealthy I know but oh so delicious, not finished there we end the unhealthy eating with a perfect nice Irish coffee. For people who have never been in Domburg please try this place, you won't get disappointed. The only annoying thing is the high season when the place is over full and busy, and you can not make any table reservations.

This place is so cute with a fantastic garden in the back where you can enjoy food or drinks. Service was fast but I did go in the off-season.

N51°33'52.0" E3°29'28.0â This large and modern beach pavilion has mega-large windows for a fantastic view over the North Sea from anywhere. The interior is sleek, functional, and clearly focused on welcoming large numbers of tourists. It was already quite crowded and for families it was necessary to make reservations. Not a beach pavilion for intimate dinners. In Augustus 2018, we ordered yellowtail and monkfish. The fish was fresh, nicely served and well prepared, but it was too fat and not crispy. The taste and texture did not excite our taste buds, and the fish had a pure nutritional value to us. We were given a bowl of fries and salad with it. For dessert, we had Parfait Chocolate. It was well prepared and tasty. Something to smile about when leaving this beach pavilion. Oasis Domburg is a beach pavilion with somewhat mediocre and expensive food. Service was quick but impersonal at the end of a busy beach season.

Domburg has several beach clubs situated on the beach itself were you can eat and drink. Noordduinen is one that is a located bit further away from the town. A twenty minute walk. Staff is very friendly. Food is nice but nothing special. We had dinner on the 4 the of May. In Holland a national memorial day on which at 8 pm sharp everyone is asked to be quiet voor 2 minutes. We were a bit surprised nobody from the staff mentioned it at the guests and even the service in the restaurant and bar went on. We consider this as a bit disrespectfull.Thank you for your reviewI want to explain you a little bit about your last sentence. We have placed our work for 2 minutes on May 4th at 20:00.However, it is practically impossible to make everyone on the terrace attend. The majority of our guests do not come from the Netherlands and are not aware of this day, unfortunately we can not change this with 150 places.Maybe we can write a sign next year to inform the guests, I will certainly take this and discussWe are certainly not respecless about our history and try to take it into account every year but we can not demand this from our guestsI hope you understand!

Fish Restaurant on top of the Domburg Dunes. Spectacular view from the terras and the restaurant. Menu for lunch of dinner: Mostly Fish, Lobster and Oysters. But also very nice salads, sandwiches and fingerfood. Very fresh and tasty food. Nice Ambiance, G
A nice sunset at a nice restaurant. We started with ansjofish and salmon. Bread was less butt the fish was excellent. After that was coming the Seedevil and Kabeljouw. Nicely served and a very good taste. The desert was also fantastic. Choclate with vanilla ice and a Mango cake. All together we enjoyed the evening with Antignori Red wine.

First visit in the sister restaurant of the vissbar.Itâs a totally different kind of setup. The restaurant is pretty small, so definitely book a table. This restaurant is pretty retro with its menu and interior. Itâs not a romantic place, this restaurant could have been in down town NY. I think the owner took a risk by putting down this kind of restaurant in Domburg since itâs not a typical family restaurant where you go and eat with small children. I really liked the menu, the way it was presented, interesting dishes.Good wine.I loved my dessert, reminded me of lava cake.I donât think everyone will like this kind of food, maybe for some people itâs to modern.I will definitely come back and try more of these interesting dishes.

Two chefs who combine their forces, exchange their knowledge, and express this through their dishes. Executive chefs Sander de Jonge and Jeroen Tanis speak in flavors and Restaurant Mezger is their culinary adventure.
Nice addition to the restaurants on Walcheren. Very friendly welcome in the restaurant that has a nice atmosphere, even on a rainy night. Nice dishes with tasteful combinations of fresh materials. You can pick a number of courses to eat and you can pick them from the a la carte menu. The price is fair. The wine arrangement was excellent. If you take the cheese you can select your own from a wide choice that has something for everyone. Chairs are very comfortable. Reservation in the weekends is recommendable.

We visited this small brewery and all of us had different local brewed beers, and nobody was disappointed. It was a nice day, so we enjoyed the backyard outdoors seating. In case you have an hour or so to spare, a definite fun place to go. We did not have anything to eat there (just FYI).

I know the Italians don't eat Pizza or Pasta for main course... but the food they serve at La Vita Bella is delicious. We had one plate of sardines between 2 of us. The moment we walked in the door we saw that the portions were more than generous. Our sardines were nicely grilled and served in a bit of olive oil with garlic, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by some bread and garlic butter. We then had a salad (my wife) with prawns and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I had a spaghetti with prawns and salmon in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. A lovely dish. We had coffee's afterwards and my espresso was up to Italian standard, Excellent. The bottle of white Sicilian house wine we had was also excellent, much more flavour than most white house wines. The service was also prompt, polite, knowledgeable and charming. What more can you ask for???
