What a darling resto. What fantastic galettes! What a charming host! What is there not to like about this venueâit was such a find, such a marvelous experience. Reservations are essential at lunchtime but you can walk in an hour or so in advance to make that reservation. Prices are super reasonable, smiles are free.Would go back in a heartbeat.

Thursday night, we arrived just after 7.30. We were the only diners for almost an hour. The owner (I guess) was attentive and very pleasant. We spoke mainly in French. The Sancerre was excellent. We shared the foie gras - we had tasted better during our 6 weeks in France. For mains we had the hake and John Dory (St Pierre). Both were excellent. And finished sharing the profiteroles.A little pricey, but excellent fish.

Not a particularly nice day, dry but cold, and stumbled across this restaurant.Set menu only offers choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts but they are really unusual and very interesting.Being a non fish eater I was limited to one starter and one main but what wonderful courses they were.Starter was Soupe Harrira, a spicy soup with a little shredded lamb.Main was Pork loin with celeriac pieces and lentil mousse.Desert I had a choice and chose the small stewed apple with cacao biscuit and lime mousse.Wine was â¬5 for a 175ml glass, not bad. What I really liked were the unusual ingredients used. Spoke to the owner who said they changed the set menu every week. Planned to go back the following week but unfortunately didn't make it but definitely going with friends in September when back in St Sulliac.A must go to when in Dinan.

We ate her twice during our stay in Dinan. We enjoyed our food very much and thought the location was very pretty. The staff were very attentive and eager to please always with a smile. The chips were the best ever its worth going just for them. I found the vegetarian selection limited but enjoyed the 4 cheese crepe. We would definitely return again.

Once again we have returned to St Louis. During our annual stay in Dinan we usually come here at least three times. Food, service and atmosphere always excellent. Evening formula as little as â¬19 for three courses. Find your way to Rue De Lehon!

Wonderful crepes! We read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint! Try their traditional cider as well! Outstanding!

Le Comptoir is a wonderful little restaurant that we regularly visit for breakfast or lunch during our stays in Dinan. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food delicious. Breakfast is value for money @ 5.50 euros which includes freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and baguette with butter and jam. The lunch menu is a nice mix of light and substantial dishes and includes a different special every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this delightful petite restaurant.

13 years ago, we first ate at this fairly new restaurant and have been devotees since then. Today we took a French friend for lunch there and she was as delighted as we were. She is ex-Morocco and Paris and has eaten in many places ; the friendly greeting, the menu, presentation , quality and wines were all praised. For lunch, there is a choice of 3 dishes from a menu of 9 possibilities for 19.50euros for the three. We had chicken "rillettes", enormous gambas with risotto, spicy beef with rice, deep-fried Camembert with caramel dressing, chicken slices with pesto...etc. The 2 pichets of wine- also good- meant that all 3 of us could enjoy them and not worry about driving home. To walk out after this super lunch into the mediaeval centre of Dinan just adds to the pleasure.
