Whilst some reviews are in-between. We found the owner very helpful. Food was good and a lot. They do a takeaway service which was popular. A meal for two 60 Euro including tip

Spent quite bit of time here 2015, the management promised to translate the menu into english but that never emerged .....the outside seating is the main draw of this property in fine weather. Unfortunately the service is slow and the team do not aniticpate you next requirement, the food is average and slightly overpriced. They are however almost always open therefore a safe backup when other resturants have their nght off ( Wednesdays) .

Het Hoogspel is a Delden institution from back in the horse and buggy days. Near the historic water tower, castle gardens, and the Twickel forest, it is located on the Deldeneresch, an elevated spot with many meadows.I've only been here for afternoon refreshments, so I can say nothing about the food, There is ample outdoor seating on the lawn (even when the parking lot might look too full), and with views in all directions it's a fine place on a warm day. The service is attentive but not pushy, even when you're in a far corner of the lawn. There is a sizeable playgound that is easily overseen from the outside seating. The menu is pretty basic Dutch fare, though.

I have had dinner here on a couple of occasions over the last few months while staying the hotel. The menu offers a decent range of options, nothing exciting or surprising but something for everyone. I've taken the steak a couple of times, decent but nothing special, it comes with vegetables and fries. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly, there is a nice mix of guests that always makes for a positive atmosphere.

A cosy, dark restaurant with a simple but good menu with food such as spareribs, mushroom soup, carpaccio, pasta and when the season is right asparagus or mussels. The portions are large and the price fits the amount of food you get. You can visit with your children. (If you don't like stuffed animals, i'd advise you to eat somewhere else.)

We had an arrangement for two nights in Carelshaven, a three-course dinner, and the use of a bike for one day.The dinner, preceded by several amuses, was truly refined, and served tastefully. The waiting was a tad stiff, though -- and sometimes a bit pushy ("are you really sure you do not want to add an extra course to your three-course dinner?").The room (in the garden wing at the back) had a great view, and a little balcony, so we will not complain that its design was not entirely what we would have chosen.Breakfast was very decent, with the local raisins-and-currents bread as a special attraction -- but we don't think that little litter-containers on the table are in the style of the type of hotel that Carelshaven wants to be.

Welcome at Restaurant 't Lansink, situated in the monumental Tuindorp 't Lansink. We will surprise you with our Local-French cuisine by our topchef Lars van Galen. We offer also private dining rooms or you can have dinner at our chef's table in the kitchen
We had dinner at the chef's table and it was a remarkable experience. The service at the Lansink is as good as you can expect it in a place of this category, the selection of wines excellent, the food just delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and all the components with elements from different cuisines over the world delivered a fantastic and exciting explosion of flavour. Seeing the chef and his team working in the kitchen was the cherry on the cake.

Had the pleaseure of eating at this Restaurant quite reguarly last last year....it was consistently very good with an excellent selection of South African wines from ther Boschendal estate which were excellent wines and good value for money. The steaks are good but not to be outdone by thir Fish dishes ....Highly worth a try when in Delden.

Nice setting and location, pretty good food, but the overall experience is a bit let down by the service. Half of our order for starters was forgotten. The replacement starter was luke-warm. When we asked for a second glass of the red wine we were having, the last tiny bit of the bottle contents were emptied into the glass. Instead of bringing a new bottle and a new glass, the glass was taken back to the kitchen area and brought back filled. What happened to first tasting whether the new bottle was ok? Where was the cork? Was the glass indeed emptied first as claimed by the serving staff? The experience could have been much better.
