Dropped in to Partridges for lunch today and was very impressed with everything. Quirky decor, lively atmosphere. We were seated and had food all within 15 minutes. I opted for the open sambo with prawns and smoked salmon. Incredible amount of food on the plate- all fantastic quality. Chips and coffee included and altogether was 12.50 - great value and a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Service was abselutely apalling!! Ordered coffees that never came. Had to ask twice before the waitresses woke up. They were busy washing glasses and mugs just to stay on top of a half empty restaurant. Food was nothing special. Fries very greasy and scone was rock solid. Never got served a bottle of water after asking twice. A massive wakeup call is needed. Would not be coming back anytime soon.

The Restaurant at Marlfield House is a multi award winning dining experience in this Relais et Chateaux country house. The cuisine is best described as classical with French and Modern influence. Dining in the charming flower filled Turner style conservat
Spent an overnight in Marlfield House and we ate in The Conservatory. The meal was delicious, with staff very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the provenance of each dish. The setting is lovely overlooking the stunning gardens. I would imagine at the height of the Irish Summer dinner followed by drinks on the lawn is the way to go! The restaurant is where breakfast is served and had one of the best plate of American pancakes with freshly squeezed orange juice. Was very impressed with all the food served in Marlfield so much so that i had to make a purchase of the home made berry jam on the way out so that i could bring Marlfield home with me!!

Modern European restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Exciting menus, changed regularly with a focus on both flavour and presentation. 100 Degrees Gorey. 100° Restaurant. We open until 11pm Wed-Sun (last orders are 9.30pm).
It was quite a nice restaurant but the service was very slow. The ambience was very nice with everyone in great form. There wasnât much choice from the menu. I decided to have the Carrot, Coriander and Cumin soup which was nice but my main which was an Indian style risotto was only ok. I didnât eat it all as I wanted to save my ounces for birthday cake. The staff were very obliging.Hi Nicola, so glad to hear you enjoyed the ambiance in the restaurant, there is always a great buzz at the weekend when the restaurant is full and we love it too! We were happy to serve such a lovely group and were delighted ye chose us for the birthday celebrations. You may have felt that service was slower than you would have liked, I can only suggest that because you were seated at the end and your plate was served last of the large group that you may have felt this way but on speaking to the team that served you, we feel there were no delays with your table on the night.Just a note on the menu, because we prepare everything fresh to order and want to maintain a very high standard in our food we offer a select menu and focus on quality and presentation. We normally find that there is plenty on there to suit everyone's tastes however. We understand in your case you had a specific request so were limited in what you could choose. The risotto that the chef prepared at your request was not on the menu but he was very happy to prepare it for you and sorry to hear that you weren't completely satisfied. If you are in with us again we hope you will find something more to your taste. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review and the lovely photo Nicola and we hope to see you again soon.

For the best in gastro pub dining in the south east, a large selection of craft beer, good fun and great craic visit the newly refurbished Coach House in the heart of Gorey town. Boasting a large bar serving a new menu of gastro-style food downstairs by r
This bar / restaurant is doing the standard fare really really well. As a family of 4 we had starters, main courses and desserts and they were all excellent, not one bad dish. The sort of food they do here is similar to the other places in town but The Coach House is going one step up. Couple that with great service and reasonable prices and you can't go wrong

Went here having made a booking for a Friday night, and it's a good job we did as the place was packed- great atmosphere. It has a real Italian feel to it, simple but nice. Great selection of food (not all pizza/ pasta) and everything we had was lovely. Service was slightly on the slower side but that was expected given how full the place was. Will definitely return!

Visited these premises on several occasions for food while passing through Gorey, but tonight we decided we would not return. We both ordered fish and chips and when it came it looked appetising enough and its fair to say that we both ate what was on the plate,(we were hungry) however the fish was a very small portion and I think that for â¬15.95 this was very poor value for money. We don't want a huge plate of chips, we want the main item to be extremely tasty and good value, and unfortunately it wasn't really either. Very disappointing.

We were staying in the Marlfield House Hotel and the Duck Restaurant while not in the hotel itself is in the hotel courtyard and is part of the same establishment. The food was very good on both nights we ate there. The Wexford Lamb Rump was really good, nice and rare with very tasty sauces and vegetables. The Marinated Monkfish was also very good. A number of contributors have complained about the service. I can see where they may have cause for complaint but I certainly had no such complaint. A good restaurant, serving good food which I would recommend.
