Happened to be staying in the adjacent Ibis Budget and for once, very unlike me, I had done no planning or research whatsoever on where we might eat for the evening. Being quite late for French diners we arrived at the hotel so by this time my wife and I were more or less resigned to having a burger from the place we had just passed up the road. On enquiring at reception about local alternatives at that hour, we were directed to Leon de Bruxelles. Not expecting much we were delighted by the place. I am not a great mollusc fan generally but the sight of mussels in a curry sauce looked intriguing so that was my choice. This was a marriage made in heaven for me if I could have licked the bowl I would have done. My better half opted for a traditional fish and chips which not only appeared very appetising, confirming that tasted as good as it looked.Lovely fresh bread, a glass of wine, a very strong Belgium beer (8.7%) desserts all for a value for money cost of just over â¬50!

We really enjoyed this restaurant - great food , superbly presented . Unusual and interesting combinations of flavours . Pretty competitive pricing - we paid about 100 euros for two of us ( aperitif , 0.5 bottle of wine , 3 courses and coffee ) Pleasant decor , tables well spaced , nice buzz and extremely friendly staff .

The " toque blanche" is really a nice place to enjoy the ceremony of a festive dinner. Located in a lovely village of the Ile-de-France, it offers a refined decoration and a peaceful atmosphère. Well, this restaurant is not cheap at all, but it is worth it. The "croustillant de homard" is inventive and full of savour. The " tête de veau sauce gribiche " cooked following the grand mother 's recipe is a real must. Take your time to enjoy the menu - but never come if you are in a hurry.Do not forget to congratulate the chef: he will tell you lots of stories of the past times. It is part of the charming atmosphere.

This restaurant used to have a good reputation but I hear more and more bad comments about the food and the service. Still we tried to go. I had to send my dish back to the kitchen because of an awfully strong and weird smell of the meat. After it came back, still the same. Not sure if they have just used the same ingredients they served me the first time or if it just their recipe that is not good but I ended up not being able to eat my dish at all. Very nicely the waiter offered the desert to compensate.

Our friends brought us to this restaurant for a weekend lunch and it did not disappoint. The food presentation was beautiful and the flavours delicious. They were also very accommodating to requests from our friend who had dietary restrictions.
