Special village house with all the charm of Provence that we imagine. Attentive service and refined Mediterranean cuisine with fresh seasonal products. Establishment part of the network of Masters Restaurateurs of France
This restaurant deserves it Michelin award as it is everything you want and more. It values first class food without succumbing to modern fads. It is beautifully cooked and presented and effortless served in a truly elegant and relaxing space. There is also a small terrace. Located in beautiful Grimaud, I always go there whenever in this part of the world. It is specially and totally unpretentious. The menu offers an array of tempting dishes fairly priced whilst the lunch menu is a bargain and includes wine. You will not be disappointed.

Our restaurant is located in the heart of the breathtaking Grimaud village, place des Pénitents. Our cuisine is tasteful, colorful and we focus on using bio local products. The restaurant is made of two main rooms, a direct view over the cuisine, as well
Travelling to the grimaud was our first experience in the south of France ! Beautiful landscapes and handsome restaurants like APOPINO ! Thank you for everything ! The attention and the diversity in the menu is highly recommandable ! But just to tell the ârisotto Citron and Poutargueâ was amazing and with such tiny prices. Again thank you so much and see you again ! Paul

Have eaten here numerous times and is one of our regular restaurants. We have lived and worked here for 16 years and this was established in the last 3-4 years. Good food offered as a two course formula or a three course menu, both good value.

The chef owns the place and his wife serves. From the outside this place looks small but there's a nice garden out the back. The food is simply stunning. If you want to sit down for a quiet evening and enjoy amazing cooking Chez Vincent is a must. The prices are fair, too. Take two courses for 28⬠or three for 35â¬. Highly recommended.

A typical French Restaurant with outdoor eating situated in a little square near the church in the old village of Cogolin. The tables are nestled around a fountain and there is plenty of shade. Food is excellent with English speaking head waitress. The Plate de Jour is very good value but gets finished quickly. A good sign is that the locals use the restaurant.

I love the Open Bistro, the food is always good and beautifully presented. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere and it is a great experience. There is plenty of choice on the menu, and so many fantastic dishes. Even though we only manage to visit twice a year, because our holiday home is too far away, the chef always remembers us and greets us. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Unfortunately, the original waitress who was there when the Bistro first opened, has left, and our only reservation is that her replacement does not seem as enthusiastic or friendly. However, the food is memorable!Dear MiriamThank you for sharing your experience at l'Open Bistro. We are pleased to read that you have enjoyed your diner in our restaurant. We are the image of our customers: nice, attentive and pleasant ... so it's thanks to you!Hoping to have you again very soon in our restaurant during a future stay in Cogolin.

When you are tired of over-priced and mediocre food in St. Tropez, take a short drive to this outstanding restaurant--stay to the right at the roundabout toward Toulon. I suggest an 8:30 reservation, leaving St. Tropez at 8:15 because if you go earlier, you will be caught in the mob leaving the beach. You park in the main parking lot in front of the City Hall, just behind the Tourist Office. Going home will be fast, as all the traffic will be gone. Now to the food. We had an amazing starter which was composed of 5 different small tastes. 3 in large shot glasses and 2 on the plate--3 were fish-based, one of foie gras, and one of duck. Beautifully presented and delicious. We paired everything with a bottle of Val d'Astier rose' (my favorite wine from Cogolin). There is no outdoor seating, and no bar scene. It is about food. The main course was a slow-cooked lamb sitting on layers of confit of onion , then mushrooms, and topped with a potato mixture. It was melt-in-your-mouth wonderful. The dessert was beautifully presented in a wine glass, with red fruits and a layers of a soft white cheese. I can still taste it.All-in-all a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. Can't wait to go again!

A menu that changes regularly to offer fresh produce with the best quality / price ratio. Fine cuisine that will tickle your taste buds in an atmosphere so chic. Simply a Chef listen to your senses ...
The food here is undoubtedly of the highest standard. Our starters and main courses were delicious. Scallops, octopus salad and fish main courses were lovely. What spoilt our experience was our waiter. We had a number of questions about the menu which is all in French (no problem with this but we just wanted a couple of things clarifying) but he made it clear he didn't really want to answer our questions. He also insisted we order our desserts there and then and we hadn't even looked at the desserts as you usually don't order them at this stage. So we quickly had to scan the menu and make a quick decision. Based on the other desserts we saw coming out of the kitchen it became clear we had in our hurry made bad choices. We noticed that other people near us were not asked for their dessert choices at the beginning but these people were French. A great shame as, as I have said, the food and wine was very good. The waiter was on his own and busy and perhaps he was just having a bad day.

The place is superb, you have to expect to have your feet in the sand and your chairs unstable as their legs are also in the sand, at different depth levels ! The service is OKish and the food average. Nems for me, nothing special and a very hard meat that I could not eat. The crepe caramel are excellent.Mixed feeling about this place.Dear client, Thank you for your comment. We're really sorry that you didn't like the meat. For the chair into the sand we tried to create the same atmosphere like the old cabane bambou where almost everybody eat feet in the sand. It's always hard to satisfy everybody but we hope you will come again to change opinion about the food. Sincerely Cabane Bambou Staff
