Called in on a Sunday morning for a coffee while walking our pup. The seats outside provide a perfect opportunity to people watch whilst enjoying a lovely cappuccino. Great friendly service

The restaurant is beautiful and lovely, especially if you seat in their small terrace. Wam and cozy ambience. Food was simple but excellant, don't miss the duck confit ! Excellent and hearty flavour in every mouth. Very good and warm services, would definitely love to go again !

I must agree with previous reviews. The staff were both professional and friendly. The breakfast we had was superb. It was hot, well presented and the ingredients were top quality. Excellent value for money too. If we are ever back in Stockport I would definitely return to this little gem of a cafe/bistro! Wish the owners all the best for the future and keep up the good work.

My family have patronised the Wycliffe for a number of years for our annual get together. Food and welcome always the same - excellent. Recently I have been staying overnight and have been very happy there. Lovely, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff always remember to lower the shower head for me!

Between the four of us we had an extremely excellent lunch. From the set Sunday lunch menu we tried the roasted cauliflower, roast beef, belly pork, then apple crumble and poached pears with a lemon ice cream - all very scrummy. Would definitely come again. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced for quality food. Would recommend.

Joined a family of four for a lovely evening meal . One child had pasta, the other beef burger each. The three adults had each double sea pass on a bed of spinach double sea pass on a bed of spinach. three sides and a bottle of wine. All meals were scrumptious. The atmosphere was delightful and the service is excellent. A meal for seven friends here was a delight. The service was friendly but professional, and the ambience of the low-ceilinged intimate dining room made it feel more like you were eating in someone's home than in commercial establishment. Dishes were nicely presented and well executed and the emphasis on seasonal produce was clear, although several of us felt that there was a lack of seasoning -a bit more salt would have made the dishes 'sing'. There was also a distinct lack of carbohydrate: a tiny square of dauphinoise potato was the sum of it. This did mean we all had room for the delicious desserts, with the sticky toffee pudding matching the accolade at the Lime Tree last year as 'joint best ever'. This was a lovely meal, and I'd be more than happy to return -if only to work my was through the amazing dessert selection.

Weâd booked a family get together for 10. The menu offers typical tapas food but it is high quality. With so many of us, we chose a wide range of food. Particular favourites were the seafood croquettes and the belly pork. This was my first visit but I was very impressed with the food and the service and Iâll definitely be back. My only adverse comment is that they donât have any large tables, our table for 10 comprised 5 circular tables for 2 pushed together

Will definitely visit again. Food was amazing. Menu choice was so good we didn't know what to choose. Staff were very attentive and made us very welcome. Food delivered in a timely manner. Everything was so nice. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they certainly made the night special even though they didn't know . There were other parties celebrating special birthdays and when they sang "happy birthday" Turkish style it was lovely. Thank you every one of you. We will definitely visit again. Well done.
