This is a slightly quirky place with dated furniture and a large TV on the wall, but we were looking to try something local and were somewhat charmed by the old-fashioned ambiance (it was also the only restaurant within walking distance from where we were staying). We passed here during the week and talked to the propietor who seemed friendly enough, so we made a reservation for dinner a few days later. When we came back at the time of our reservation the place was full with locals. So much so that their didn't seem to be enough place for us. The same proprietor was now extremely unfriendly and suggested that four of our group joined one table and three to sit at another. These tables were in different rooms. This was not what we had agreed on so we asked if there was anything he could do. His response: 'Bye, bye'. We tried to remain friendly and looked for a solution, but it was clear he did not want us there. He kept getting unfriendlier and ruder, so finally we left and had to look for some other place that would have us (not so much fun in the dark, when you are on foot and now nothing else is in walking distance).Needless to say I would not recommend going here. It seems that locals are welcome but out of towners (or maybe foreigners) are not.

I visited this restaurant together with my friends. It does not look any special from the outside, but believe me, we were totally amazed. I ordered stak with pepper sauce which was one of the best steak I have ever eaten! My friends ordered pizza and pork meat, both amazing. If you are in Jánské LáznÄ, you cannot miss this place. Totally recommend!

First of I have to say this restaurant is beyond inexpensive and second the food is fantastic. They offer traditional Czech food with other choices for those who want a variety. Our group ordered the Steak Tatar with âtopinkyâ Czech fried rye bread and garlic cloves on the side that you smear on the toast. Their wild mushroom soup was fantastic and so was the goulash with dumplings.Letâs not forget the beer â¤ï¸

Tourist crossroad's buffet, always full but good service and very good food. Waiting pays off. Pricing ok.Thank you very much for praise and we will be happy to come back to you again :-)...
The Horizont has two good bars (the restaurant is OK but there are better places in Pec). The first bar is on the 3rd floor and is Cuban-themed. The place has awesome atmosphere (even if borderline kitschy), very good cocktails, and has been like that for decades. Even during Communism. The other bar is a rooftop bar, brass and leather, with a formal, almost Manhattan-like, atmosphere. Maybe the Commie apparatchiks wares a little capitalist-style retreat when they designed this hotel for themselves? :)I held a martini cocktail master class here during one visit .... Very attentive and friendly staff! Well worth a visit. Great view!

Great restaurant with wide range of pizzas to choose from - they are delicious! We chose KrakonoÅ¡ pizza (with salami, bacon, onion) and Formaggi con Panna (cheese pizza on white cream base). The creamy garlic souo was smooth and thick - also very nice! The dessert - ice creams are home-made, very fresh and tasty too! The place is very nice with friendly staff, Iâm glad we stopped here. Thank sou for this lovely experience!

Very good restaurant in the centre of Vrchlabi with wide range of dishes to choose from. Burgers are good (tried thise before), this time we ordered pulled pork in tortilla from daily menu, turkey with salad in tortilla with cheddar sauce and grilled chicken with proscuitto. The pumpkin soup with sour cream and ginger was delicious! Everything we ordered was very good (as we are used to in this restaurant) and the staff was friendly. Recommend this place for either lunch/dinner or coffee with some nice dessert (they have more options you can choose from).

My teenage son and I had dinner here a couple of times, and we find the quality of the food and service to be very good. Not the cheapest place around, though, if you are on a tight budget.

Weâve been travelling all around the world for last 4 years, eaten at hundreds of restaurants off all kinds - this one is one of the best. And itâs in my (almost) home town :-) What a great surprise! Well done, Vrchlabi.Food is amazing. Glass of house malbec very good. Service - thatâs what it should look like. Pleasant, friendly, helpful, easy going, not in your face. Can you teach some of your competitors please? We are here for another two weeks. Weâll be back a few times to taste the rest of the menu.

Le Petit Gourmand The cosy restaurant with 20 seats and a 10-person salon with a fireplace will surprise you with its almost homely atmosphere. The intimate environment is fine for romantic moments over extraordinary gourmand experience. Suitable also for
We enjoyed a very nice dinner. Small but very cozy restaurant - only few tables with fantastic view to the mountains. Very good and professional service and waiter knowledgeable about the wines. Good selection of wine and a french style menu. Being summer I would have liked a more 'summer' / lighter menu. Food was excellent and very well prepared and cooked to perfection.
