Nice and friendly place for every families and not expensive. The best meat you'll ever eat. English menu.
The position is lovely up in the mountains with very nice views. The food looked nice although we just had coffee. The problem was the man who served us. Not one smile, the coffee badly served. Its a shame when so many people are unemployed in spain that someone like that is employed. A real shame to have such surly and unhelpful service.Dear costumer:Thank you for your visit. You tell us that the food is good with a real good views.Thank you.If the unic problem you had was with the coffee because the waiter didn´t smile or the coffe was badly served i'm so sorry, but what about the other employers, and the other waiters? The real shame is not to be objective, don´t you? Please read the other opinions... is the opposite you explain.Asador Alto del León

Our last dinner in Spain before departure for home. They say save the best for last - this was by far one of the best seafood weâve been fortunate to enjoy while traveling in Spain. The restaurant was bustling with activity but our servers still made all of us feel VIP. They explained the menu items with such enthusiasm that you salivate listening. We savored every bite and licked our fingers for good measure. If you love seafood, this is another one of the âmust visitâ. About an hour away from Madrid but the beautiful drive and the dinning experience is worth the travel away from the city crowd.

The staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable, what more can you ask for. Roast chicken is beautifully cooked but there is so much more to choose from.

When visiting Madrid try get out to Navacerrada, beautiful little village at the foot of the mountains with a very attractive centre full of bars and restaurants. Rompicapo is a typical Italian restaurant, ideal for families, serving Pizza and Pasta and many other specialities. Don't be put off if you don't speak Spanish, Manolo, the owner speaks excellent English and is a great host, attentive, helps with suggestions and is good fun! The price/quality equation is very good and I would recommend it for a relaxed informal lunch/evening

Desde hace poco , mi restaurante a desaparecido de la búsqueda en la categorÃa de "restaurantes en Navacerrada" y aparece en " postres" y "lugares donde comer" No entiendo el motivo, de no figurar en Restaurantes de Navacerrada
We chose to eat in this restaurant being recommended by family. I must say the food was really good, the service was excellent and the place was rustic but very nice. Price/quality was really good. I would definitely recommend this place and we'll certainly be going back.Nos recomendaron este sitio algunos familiares y de verdad estaba muy bueno. La comida, el servicio y el sitio rustico eran espectacular. Calidad/precio muy bien. Es recomendable. Seguramente volveremos.

A tavola di canela born in 2005, the main idea is to bring the Italian-Mediterranean cuisine of the Sierra de Madrid in a different way, with excellent meat offered by the environment, with the best seasonal and fresh pasta, betting on a cuisine based on
We went to A Tavola on a Sunday evening, just after it opened at 9 pm. The atmosphere was dead .... not just because we were too early for the local crowd, but because there was nothing Italian about the decor, picture, furnishings, etc. The list of items on the menu was fine - but the quality was variable. We started with garlic bread (which was really dry) and a mushroom and chicken crepe - which was very large and covered in a creamy sauce. The garlic bread was rendered edible by spreading it with some of the sauce from the crepe. The crepe was Ok, but very rich and too large for a starter (yes - I could have left some, but my eyes are bigger than my stomach).Main courses - a vegetable pizza, which was pretty good, and a black tagliatelle dish with pieces of salmon and prawn. On investigation we did find some salmon, but only uncovered from the heavy sauce, one lonely prawn. The taste was Ok, but the sauce was simply too heavy and the pasta was way past al dente.House wine was fine and the cortadosto finish were very good. The waitress was really good and efficient.Overall summary - probably best in Spain to eat Spanish food, but if you are really hankering for something different after a longish holiday (as we were), you could give this a try. It may be that Sunday evening is a quiet night for them and perhaps the other dishes were better!(?)

Decided to try the Alacena after reading some very positive reviews on TA and it did live up to expectations. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The 3-course menu for â¬16 was made available to us on a Saturday night at 9pm. Food was creative and delicious, service friendly (which in my books is always a big brownie point in a touristy area where we clearly aren't locals). I am SO going back this summer.
