From the minute we walked in it felt like weâd stepped off mayflower street into a kooky little Italian side street restaurant, I felt like I was abroad. The starter was my favourite, garlic prawns, I can honestly say Iâve never tasted anything so good, more impressed with this place than any restaurant Iâve been to in Italy!!! The main was also Delicious and we were so full but didnât want to miss out on dessert so they sent us home with take away desserts. Fantastic service, clean fresh toilets, canât believe Iâve been going to second rate chain restaurants all these years and have only just found this hidden Gem. Best local restaurant....FACT!!!

Have been here a couple of times in the last few weeks and we will definitely continue to come here when we visit Plymouth. We first came for breakfast. The Full English is very tasty and represents great value for money. We then bought a selection of Portuguese cakes to take home. The pasteis da nana are amazing, lovely crispy pastry and plenty of filling. Last night we went for dinner. The bacalhau com natas was lovely and creamy, whilst my partnerâs grilled beef with mushroom sauce was delicious. Had a very nice bottle of red, too. Once again, bought some pasteis to take home. Obrigado!

A small family run bistro, offering over 50 wines sold by the glass, carafe or bottle. All food is cooked to order, so we're not a place to visit if you're in a rush (unless you pre-order), but a great place to relax and enjoy fresh local produce. Primari

"Offering a classic mixture of quality food, all day, in a central position. A new cafe built into the shell of a late Georgian corner-pub".
Recently took visiting friends for lunch here. We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Our latest experience was no exception. Lovely friendly and efficient staff on front of house and our lunch from the set lunch menu was absolutely delicious. Faultless. Gorgeous food beautifully presented. Love it here!

Visited this eatery with a group of work colleagues who had eaten here regularly. We are visiting Plymouth so it was new to us. The food and ambience is outstanding. Sharing platter starters were great with local meats and cheeses and the pork chop and champ mash was fantastic. Huge and beautifully cooked! Great value for money!

Visited the restaurant on the recommendation of friends who joined us for lunch. Food/service was excellent, couldnât find fault with any of it, & wonder if the 1star rating had visited the same place! Fletcher came out personally to check everything was ok. Could not fault it & will definitely return. Prices are reasonable & have paid much more elsewhere when the food wasnât up to the standard we ate today. Well done, nice to have found great quality food, service to match & a nice environment to eat in.

Travelled from Salcombe to meet business clients and it was worth every mile travelled.Front of house service was brilliant, polite and very attentive. Two dined on hummus for starter but they were in awe when they spotted my fresh blow torched mackerel. Scrumptious. One had the hake whist two of us had the famous fish stew. Worth every penny, fish, cockles and mussels just so fresh and tasty. However, DO NOT pass on the desserts. Those who read my reviews know I am passionate about sticky toffee pudding and this was the best I had tasted in years... WOW..... A great experience and worth every penny. This talented chef visited our table to see if we enjoyed his food. That's a brave move by any chef but you can see the passion and confidence ooze from this man. Thank you chef... and team
