After a 6 year absence, I was truly amazed that the quality and presentation of the food was tremendous. The service was very friendly and welcoming and made you feel welcome immediately. Nothing had changed in fact the menu has improved offering a wide range of superb dishes. I had the prawn cocktail offering a huge portion of prawns and not lettuce as a starter. Then my favourite, pieces of Veal with mushrooms in a creamy sauce accompanied with Rosti Potatoes, huge portion. My philosophy through life, is that you get what you pay for and Casita Suiza delivers with top class cuisine, highly recommended.

The gourmet restaurant of Diamante Beach Hotel. Modern setting, not very cosy (and especially since there were only 3 tables booked on a Saturday evening). We went for the 7 course set menu (at only 59â¬). Appetizers were ok (though we didn't taste much of horchata in one of them). Tasting of tomatoes: very good, fresh; followed a pumpkin soup with white shrimps which was very nice. First starter: a giant Valencia oyster. For the fans, this must be the biggest oyster I ever saw. Second starter: codfish with poached egg: not to our satisfaction. Came very good sea bass as mains, followed by correct lamb shoulder. Dessert was fresh combination of citrus, chocolate and butter. Interesting wine list at very affordable prices.Dear guest,Thank you so much for helping us to improve. We regret that your experience was not what you expected. We invite you to give us another chance to surprise you.Best regards,

The welcome was professional but not very friendly and we had to wait for the waiter to locate our booking, and check with someone else, before we were taken to a table. The room itself is a bland white box, totally uninspiring but I guess that creates a canvas for the food. Our waiter for the evening asked if we would like to be spoken to in English or Spanish ( although we speak reasonable Spanish we wanted to have a full understanding of the gastronomic experience so opted for English) which was a nice touch. We opted to go a la carte although originally intended to go for the full degustation menu. This was because the food was the same we were assured, just the volume was different. We didnât fancy a couple of the dishes and did not want to risk those, hence the a la carte choice. The food was very good and surprisingly not over fussy, all things considered. The wine list was excellent. We are fortunate and have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants around the world. The food was worthy but we felt that âas an experienceâ it just didnât quite get there. It was however very good value for money.Dear Guest, First of all we would like to thank you for sharing your impressions at Beat Restaurant. Your suggestions will help us to improve. We regret the decoration didnât reach you expectations, It is specially cared for immersing your five senses in the Mediterranean gastronomy Beat.We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our products and our wine pairing. We would like to thank you once for appreciating the professionality of the staff. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again. Best regards,

A small family-run restaurant serving fresh and homemade dishes since 2000.A good selection of wines, homemade desserts. Request on vegetarian dishes is advisable to call in advance. Please note that La Casa is very small(only 5 tables), we appreciate you
We've been enjoying delicious dining in La Casa for many years now, and we look forward to continuing in this way. However, our last feast there was on Nochevieja 2018, and it deserves a special mention. We arrived as arranged at 2100h and some fellow guests were already enjoying their meals, while others with later bookings had still to arrive. We were soon enjoying ours, five courses of beautifully prepared food, both meat and fish, with thoughtful aperitivos, amuses bouches, sorbets, wines - luxury. All of this came at a perfect pace to savour it all and also to leave us ready for our 12 grapes at midnight. A lovely evening to end 2018 and to begin 2019.We look forward to returning when you reopen for the new season!Thank you very much Harry, one of our favourite guests, the Scotsman We are getting ready for the new season of 2019, definitely hoping to see you and your lovely lady very soon !!!Serene

Visited Friday last, the 20/9. We had booked a table via email from the UK before travelling. Very easy and prompt reply and confirmation. Arrived in the town of Calpe and wandered the back streets in search of the restaurant. Very difficult to find, but the upper terrace/ outdoor eating area is opposite the 'Town council offices. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table by a very pleasant lady, who explained the menu in detail and even adjusted the composition of the 'goats cheese ' starter to suit my wife's requirements. I had Squid from the tapas menu to start. Excellent dish. For main course my wife ordered the pork fillet which was nicely presented but far to much for a small lady to eat. I chose the rack of lamb and after debate decided on the four chop loin rather than the eight. Believe me the four was plentiful. Nice veg and separate chips were good. We were so full after the two courses that neither of us were able to manage a dessert. The house wine, both white and red was impressive (the red in particular). Two slight grumbles were that my lamb chops were a little 'under' from what I ordered and the lady waitress/owner was on her own trying to serve about 20 covers all on the roof garden. She welcomed people, explained the menu, took orders, served drinks and served the food. Although she was excellent at her jobs, it slowed things up considerably. A great place to eat and a good varied menu, however the few grumbles just took the edge off proceedings.
