We ate outside in this small restaurant in the historic district. The pasta dishes were the winners. My wife had vegetable lasagna which should be shared and I had tagliatelli with sausage. Both were great- in fact my pasta was the best I ever had. Next I had the veal special which was a little tough and my wife had chicken with herbs.We finished with a delicious custard dessert. The waitstaff were pleasant and attentive.

We stayed at the accompanying Amadeus Hotel prior to a flight from Bologna airport and ate dinner here one evening. The choices for restaurants in the immediate neighborhood are rather poor. We found the food to be well prepared and delicious. We had the Misto Emiliano appetizer and the grilled seafood mixture with wine. Helpful and welcoming staff.

The food was good, but the place is hot like hell. The owner/waiter told us to have two splits at maximum power. Actually They were not working, I would prefer he to be more honest with us. La ringrazio per il suo commento, anche se avrei preferito un giudizio sul cibo piuttosto che sull'aria condizionata.le ricordo che nel periodo della sua visita la temperatura a bologna era circa 40°c.Anche se accesi (e le assicuro che l'aria condizionata ha funzionato tutta estate ai massimi livelli) gli split non possono fare miracoli con una temperatura così alta. L'aspetto comunque ancora , magari in un periodo più fresco , così che Lei possa concentrarsi maggiormente su quello che mangia.cordialmente Luca Osteria Cannone

Once a good restaurant, now a total disaster. Table service is very slow. We took a potato entree, and it was overpriced and bad tasting. Potatos were rotten I guess. Pasta and pizza were ok.

Typical Italian place, »accessible to all«. Several rooms in different styles. Nice terrace.The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful, speak English. Service is good. Wide choice of excellent food (meet, fish, pasta, pizza), great desserts and very good house wine. Free parking on site.Really interesting place and not expensive.

We went here with a business party for dinner. Food is very good, the tasting menu a little overwhelming in quantity, albeit very good quality. Atmosphere is very pleasant, service absolutely professional and friendly. We were on a touch and go at Bologna airport. Our hotel did not have any food in our timing. We drove to the closest restaurant around and we found The Stella!What a nice surprise. You feel at home. Clients seem to be regulars from the neighborhood. A typical borgo restoro. Fantastic pizzas and spaghetti pomodoro absolutely stunning. With hand cut tomatoes and sauce. Excellent

Nice old house, parking outside, close to the airport. Good service and cosy atmosphere. Food style is quite modern, not rusticò at all, as the old house might suggest. Seafood risotto was good, so was ombrino. Chocolate fondants was an interpretation, could have been warmer. Good experience overall.

Nearly in the countryside, not easy to find, and much harder to get a table if not reserved many days in advance. Once there, you're hit by the noise and confusion. Resist, and start with the exceptional selection of hors d'oeuvre, the great bruschetta with tomatoes, served as default. Desserts also very good. Dishes are generous and prices low for Bologna's standard. 25-35 for a full dinner.

We decided to try this restaurant because it had so many good reviews. We were certainly not disappointed. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The calzone al polpo was my favourite. The atmosphere was great. Obviously it is very popular among locals too. They had a separate English language menu.thank you! we hope to have you again
